This is the Off-Topic Topic, therefore shouldn't off topic tags be on-topic which then of course creates a huge conundrum, but that is a different story.

Also, the tag system is designed to easily find what you want via the search function. Well what if I am trying to find the OTT where we were talking about Budge's Hard Heinz Ketchup. How would I go about finding that thread then if the tags keep getting deleted? Therefore, you are actually stopping the point of the tags, which is finding the content that you want regardless of wether it is silly or serious.

The idea of the ott having tags that are completley off the topic of that actual ott, is pretty dang funny.

But I don't think that's what you're asking. You're saying there are tags on the OTTs that were related to that specific OTT and they've been deleted? Where they inappropriate for the site?

No, almost all the tags cleared once or twice every OTT, including harmless OTT only ones like "Budge Judy" or "Mox's Hard Lemonade". Those are not offensive or bad for the site in anyway.

EDIT: I am not saying that you are doing this Gwen, but someone is.

Also.... I must admit, the CAGcast is kinda funny...

I have a feeling that JimmieMac has never tagged a thread. If that's so, that really reinforces my belief that "BIG BROTHRAR SI WATCHNG YUO" - "we know who tags what" - was a bluff, and that you guys just made a blind sweep of who you think will make troublesome tags.

I gave it a listen thrice.

It might be stomachable without Wombat. But as it is it's not very appealing IMO. Wombat is wholly uninteresting and I find his voice annoying.

I think I listened up to #10, and have listened to a few, here and there.

I don't like vanity, uninteresting lives, corny humor and out of touch opinions, so it doesn't appeal to my interests.

Cheapy is pretty good on the air, but I cannot handle Wombat.
 
The AIDScast was alright fror a while to kill time at work.


Then the site became all about the podcasts, and and said pods were about Wombutt whining for an 'industry' job

Cheapy is so wrong about that one, but I don't care. The tagging system is a waste like most of the things in CAG 2.0.

I told y'all, at the very first week or so, I did delete a bunch of OTT tags, but then I stopped dropping in because I was in a far less chatty mood. (I don't go looking for tags, it's only if I see them or if someone PMs me about them.) So I don't know about the current state of the ott tags.

I listen to the CAGCast for the off-topic discussion (not be confused with the OTT). The gaming stuff I could care less about, they're usually wrong/out of date on a lot of what they know.

We used to play Halo 2 with Shrike, he at least sounds like a man, sure, he's just as corny when he talks as when he posts but he's got some bass in his voice. Linkin sounds like a pants shitting little kid all the time, every time I've played with him.

P.S. I never tagged a thread. I just got lumped in with the Usual Suspects for a one way train to Tagschwitz.

I think Jimmie lost his tagging privileges because someone started tagging all the blog posts the first day with JimmieMac. That may have been before they could nail down who was tagging what.
