Some people have also been lucky in locating the original coupon at the Home Theater section of BB. Make sure to check there as well.

Enjoy!

No one should pass up Angel at this price.

It is, without a doubt, my favorite TV series ever.
I love Buffy as well, but I believe Angel to be the better show overall.

...I suppose a blank post with just my avatar could have communicated this. Ah, well.

I only need Season 2 of Angel to complete The complete sets. Season 2 of Angel was the weakest of all to me. It was just decent. 6 bucks worth definitely.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably pick them up at our library which has them all there for free... if I get hooked fast maybe I'll jump on the deal.

I know Whedon is a good writer and goes beyond the surface....

Can anybody put the coupon back up. I keep getting 403 and I need them.

Nevermind, I found it, but a higher quality scan would be nice.

I got this to work today I useed the above method of trying to get one then asking if I could get the rest of the series if I had more coupons. The woman looked at the ad and said I probably could if I just had them as sepreate trasnactions she runf up my one sale and I immediatly went for the rest of Buffy. Took out six coupons she rung everything up then scaned each one she didn't seprate the transactions at all, and it went through.

My only issue was that I put it on my credit card. They are not going to come looking for me are they, anyone else use there credit card?

You'll be fine. Once you're out the door (with a receipt, of course) you're golden.

I wasnt going to press my luck so I just bought 1 at each BB and managed to season 1 and 2 of Angel so far I plan to go back to the same BBs tomorrow and pick up season 3-5 and seasons 1 and 2 of Buffy. Thanks a lot for the heads up OP!

yea there's a best buy on my way to and home from my office so i pick up 2 on the way there and 2 on the way home

tomorrow just gonna ask if i can use the last of them to get the 8 more i need to save time

I picked up seasons 2-7 of Buffy the last 2 days but they haven't shown up on myrewardzone.com yet; does anyone else have this problem? It's relevant because if you spent $100 on media from June to this Saturday you get a $10 GC.

I'm currently making my way through Buffy and Angel for the first time (I'm on the last disk of Buffy S7 and Angel S4) and I really love this show. I blind bought the first season because I loved Firefly and Serenity so much, and I honestly though Buffy sounded really corny, but I've watched pretty much the entire series in about half a year. Anyone who likes Firefly or Veronica Mars needs to see this show.
I read a rumor a few months ago that the BBC was considering making a show about Giles, and I really hope that happens, because I only have 1 season of Angel left and I want more Buffy-verse.

Spoilers Alert

Do not read if you don't want spoilers since I am too lazy to figure out how to actually make the text hidden. So if a mod can fix that, it would be appreciated.

Originally it was supposed to be a Watcher show that was supposed to be for the BBC, it was rumored around the time Giles first left around Season 5. Here is a link from 2001 about the BBC show.

http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,271|69068|1|,00.html

It seems that the new rumored Giles BBC show is about his pre Watcher Days as the Ripper which until it actually starts filming is just a rumor as we see how well the other BBC rumor panned out.
I picked up Buffy 2-5 at BB tonight, all 4 at one place with one cashier. Coupon worked when scanned. :D Awesome deal, thanks op!
Did the single coupon cover all of them, or did you print 4 coupons?

Well i felt uncomfortable using the printed coupons, so i went to the home theater area and was able to get the actual coupons. I was able to get Angel 1-5 , and I used one coupon for each set in case anyone is interested.

just used the printed coupon and gave my friend 9 and i used 9 and no problems at all i even made the coupon 3 to a page so i could print more out at a time

I picked up Angel seasons 1 & 4 today. I had the same cashier that I had Monday and she took care of me just as well as before. Now I just need Angel season 3 and I'll have the complete Buffy and Angel series for a total of just over $76, $19 being store credit. This is going to launch me to the upper echelon of the devil customer list.

Printed 4 copies, though the cashier didn't take them.

I went back today and got Season 6+7 of Buffy, still worked fine, but the cashier took those copies.

I would print out multiple copies, just in case.

Oh man, looking online, my BB has all 12 sets in stock and I have $25 of certificates...so so tempting, but I feel weird trying to use 12 printed coupons at one store. Any suggestions to make this as easy as possible or is it totally a YMMV?

I had no problem using it on three different cashiers at two different stores in Columbus, Ohio. The last time I did it, the manager was standing at the register. The cashier asked if they took the coupon, and the manager said to scan it to see if it worked. I had absolutely no problems. I'd just cut the coupons out of the paper and handed the coupons to the cashier after they scanned everything and asked if he could try these.

like i said go later at night and they are more apt to take the deal and help you out and the cashiers dont want to be there and probably wont care at all.
:O Where exactly were the coupons in the home theater section?
I had to ask a girl in the home theater area, apparently they dont keep them out on the floor at this store. I guess thats why they had a lot of them left..

I'm going to try this today. I have a $5 rewards cert that's burning a hole in my pocket. My local store supposedly has Buffy S1 in stock, which was the only season I watched. By S2 I lost interest.

EDIT:
It worked. I got Buffy S1.

$15.99
- $10 coupon
- $5 rewards certificate
+ tax
--------------
$1.05 out the door.

WOOOHOO! I went in to Best Buy last night with my boyfriend holding like 13 DVD sets.. (All the Buffy's except season 3 because I already own that, All Angels, and both Dark Angels) and I was holding a neatly cut out copy of the coupon I printed out. I went to a cashier that looked like he was in high school(whom according to my boyfriend looked like he didn't know a damned thing ;)) and innocently asked if I could use my coupon on all these DVDs (I had TONS more copies of the coupon in my purse if I needed to pull them out). He looked at the coupon for like one moment and was like... okay =)

So that's how I got like 13 DVD sets for ~85 bucks =D yay! Gl to anyone else who tries to pursue this deal, it's a pretty frickin' sweet ^.^
i created an image that when printed gives you 3 that scan perfectly
Thanks Animal, that will make life quite a bit easier. I totally hope this will work out for me now if only I knew my works policy on personal printing....

Thanks. I picked up the first three seasons of Angel after much examination by the register-jockey. Less than $20 is a nice deal.

I'll definitely pick up more.

Don't give up. It took me 5 different visits, but I got the whole run of Angel for 30 bucks. Worth the effort IMO.

Oh man, I got lucky compared to some of you. I decided to first try and get all seven seasons of Buffy which they had. The cashier was a nice young woman who wasn't sure what to do with all the coupons so she called over someone else who said they would just have to ring them all up seperately (since it said it couldn't be combined with anything else). After ringing up season 1 she decided to try and ring up more than one (which I knew would work but didn't want to be the one to say it). She rang up all 6 remaining ones.

After being successful I put Buffy in my car and picked up Angel seasons 1,2,4,5 and went right back up to the same cashier and smiled and joked about the situation. I asked if they had season 3 and she checked the store inventory and it said they had 5 copies. She gets people to search the warehouse and eventually 4 people are all searching for it and fail to find it, but she rang up the other 4 sets no questions asked and was really apologetic for not finding season 3.

So all in all 11 sets for $49 (after $20 of reward zone cert.) is a pretty sweet deal and I'm going to check tomorrow after work to see if they can find season 3 (which I'll get with my remaining $5 Reward Certificate). Heck I probably would have even gotten her number if I wasn't relatively certain she was in high school.

So long story short good luck to anyone else trying for this sweet deal and THANKS A LOT OP!!!!!! :bouncy: :applause: \\:D/ (and Animal for posting the 3 per page coupons)

when it says not for use in combination that means one coupon per item and you cant use another different coupon on the same item some of these people you are encountering are retarded. if some one else says that just tell them it will work since its one coupon per item and if they do it all at once it rise help their upt and their asp i believe i am drawing a blank basically the average transaction amount

I had to call for them to find it but I went back and got Angel season 3 for $1.05 after my reward certifcate. I even had the same cashier. 12 coupons with the same cashier. Sweet deal.

Thanks again OP!

I picked up DA yesterday because the cashier stuck to "one coupon per customer" - today I went back and managed to snag the DA Season 2 and the full run of angel for about $39....in addition to a bunch of pennied guides =D

I finally got all of Angel and season 1 of Buffy I would have gotten the rest of Buffy but I am now completely broke. :(
At one BB I got shot down by a cashier and he was kinda a dick about it. He was being real sarcastic with me and I really felt like giving him shit but decided it wasn't worth it so I just left and went to another BB and got it no problem.

Decided to go to the best buy closer to my house, and I luckily found a really awesome cashier. Purchased only the first season of Buffy at first, so test the waters. She didn't read the coupon and just scanned it. I told her if she mind that I went to my car to grab the rest of the coupons so I can pick up the rest of the season. She said she didn't, so I went ahead and grabbed the rest. It was nice seeing the total drop from 105.00 to 38.00 :applause:

ps: how is Angel? I see that's it's a really popular pick-up. I decided to go for Buffy based on recommendations that Veronica Mars fans will like it, which I am a huge fan of.

If you like Buffy you'll like Angel. Similar tones and senses of humor. 2 of the most criminally underrated shows of the last 10 years.

I considered getting Buffy since the wife likes the show, but I knew I couldn't get there enough this week to get the whole series...

I went to Bestbuy 7 times for the buffy complete series. I live by one and work very close to another so I went at lunch and then after work for 3 days.

Damn.. I forgot all about this. When I remembered I only has like 25 bucks on me so I could only get the 1st 3 seasons of Angel, meh better than nothing I guess.

Not sure how long this will go on (since the sale ended yesterday) but the Angel and Buffy seasons are still $15.99 at Best Buy's website.

Looks like the coupon doesn't work anymore on DVDs that are on sale... I went to two stores today in SF trying to get the Pretender sets. But, both store's register won't take the $10 off automatically and requires manager's overwrite... Unfortunately, most manager's will point out that the coupon must be an original, or the fact that the coupon can only take $10 off on the original price, and not the sale price...

I was able to score a Wii at one of the BBs, so the trips weren't totally wasted.
