I'm not sure I entirely believe you. I don't think they would ever tell you when you will receive it right away like that. They would first have to send you an Affadavit of Elegibility for you to prove you are who you say you are and to see that you qualify for the prize. Until then, they would refer to you as a POTENTIAL winner. That's how most all contests I've won worked.

Could you post a pic of the email they sent you if you won? I want to believe you.

As long as he didn't use fake info when he registered, and as long as he didn't cheat (i.e. have multiple accounts on the same computer/IP/shipping address) and was qualified (any age or location restrictions?), then there no reason to doubt that the 'You Have Won' message won't culminate in him actually getting his prize. Course, if he did cheat, or does not meed the restrictions, then there is a good chance that he may have won, but that he won't actually be getting anything at all.

My recent winning in the American Airlines promo indicated that I would be getting my prize win a week or two... AFTER I submitted my affidavit. So, he may just have forgot to mention that little stipulation.

I actually just saw on another forum someone who won and posted a screencap and it did say 3 -4 weeks. Sorry for doubting you.

Did they ask for your address after you were determined a winner? I don't recall ever entering an address for registration.
