Buy 1 get 1 free returns? How do they work

Most retailers (TRU, Target, etc.) Prorate the return.

That means you effectively paid $20 for two games or $10 each. If you returned one you would only get $10 back.

depends on how they are priced i know   best buy used to  depend on who you got.

if you got one game for 20 and one game for free and it showed

game  1    20.00

game 2     0,00

and return  Game 1   you would get  20 back.  but another worker would demand you return both games  or no games  ... it all depends on where you got them from and who you get

Not a game store, but the store I work at takes half off (assuming it's 2 items) of the "free" item and takes the other half off of the other item.

Example:
Item A: $45
Item B: $30

After sale:
Item A: $30
Item B: $15
