I was told yesterday at work that the District Manager called and informed us that B2G1F will more than likely be back during the week of June 10th. I don't know if it's a National sale, but I would assume that is the case. I work in a Southern California store, so at the bare minimum, I'd expect all of these stores to have the sale. Today I was in a far suburb and stopped by the Gamestops there. Man, these out of the way places have all this in-demand stuff.

I saw (but didn't pick up for various reasons):
Disgaea $40

What I did pick up was:

i just went there yesterday and the manager said that it will go on for 2 weeks this time. i pointed out that they cut it short last time, but he said that this time it will probably go on for the whole 2 weeks.

i picked up Viewtiful Joe 2, Riddick, Drakengard, Grandia 2, Phantom Brave, and Madden 05 for about 60 bucks. Now i got enough games to keep me occupied until Atelier Iris Mana.
 
On Friday, I hit up my local GameStop, which is less than 6 months old, so their used game selection kinda sucked. Anyways, I bought Brothers in Arms (Xbox), Hot Shots Golf Fore, and Tales of Symphonia (which was free) for only $61.

But I didn't feel that was good enough. I went to a different GameStop, a much bigger GameStop, and check out my haul. Using the GI Coupon (50% added to trade value if you trade in 4 games), I traded in Forza Motorsport, Unreal Championship 2, Raze's Hell, and Growlanser Generations, and got $100.50 in credit. I ended up getting Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Ys: Ark of Napishtim, Phantom Brave, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (Xbox), Panzer Dragoon Orta (Free) and Skies of Arcadia Legends (Free). After all that, I still had $14.14 left in credit. Sweet.
 
Shucks, someone had already grabbed the Star OCean 3 guide which I know was there a few weeks ago but I did get Final Fantasy X, Dark Cloud 2 and Tekken 4 for a throw-in; two at least I was really looking for.

Looks like my local GS got cleaned because they had some pretty good stuff last week. Oh, and the manager said that it's going til the 19th.
 
Going tonight. Does Gamestop match other places prices? MGS3 is 20 bones at EB, but 40 at Gamestop.. wondered if I could swing that?

Words can't explain my disgust in you paying nearly full price for a crappy Star Wars game, are you a Star Wars freak by any chance?

It was for my cousin, he wanted it for his birthday. Besides, I already have the game myself and it's decent. Dont know why everyone is hating on it.
 
I tried to get gamestop to match EBgames 14.99 xmen legends new..they said they don't pricematch and only sell it for 17.99 used..

You got that right. Sometimes I hate the area I live in becuase I don't have all those other stores like GC and GR. But man I've been able to find some games that I know that would never be able to find in a bigger city. I guess there are pros and cons to living out of the way.

Oh I got these yesterday:

Stella Deus (got a copy earlier this week, this one is for a friend)
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Digital Devil Saga DBS free

All were complete and mint. There's a bunch of other stuff that I wanted but I think we all know how hard it is to find some of these Atlus games at times.

Good find. Those were the ones that I was trying to go for, mainly to get SMT:N (and possibly getting Growlancer Generations instead of Stella Deus). Though I only got SMT:N, I was pretty happy also getting Band of Brothers and the Godfather Trilogy with the deal.

Still want to look into Stella Deus but now I gotta pick up Digital Devil Saga and Growlancer pretty soon before they get too hard to find...
 
Does this work with GS Credit? I have $47 in GS credit. Could I get Mercenaries for $44 add some cash and get Klonoa 2 and get ummm Phantom Brave free?
 
Never used credit on buy 2 get one free. So it's either get a used Mercenaries$44, Tekken $44 and SW:Battlefront free.

Or get Mercenaries, Klonoa 2, and Phantom Brave.
 
The better deal, at this point in time, would be the first one you mentioned in your last post. Personally, I think you'd get more long-term value out of Mercs/Klonoa/Phantom Brave, though.

Wow, that much? Check your CC and they may have it for $5 or even less. Toys R Us may have it for cheap, too.

i heard you can call places near ur zip code about 200miles and if they have them they can send the game to the place you buy games from pretty cooL:p

Just snagged Disgaea and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Suikoden was free.
 
I got a copy of Phantom Brave complete with the music CD for $18, a crappy looking copy of Wild Arms 3 (they switched cases behind the counter, damn me for talking to my friends rather than paying attention!) for $13, and a free copy of the long box version of Romance of the 3 Kingdoms IV, with the manual but no map. Not to bad for $29 (after card).
 
I just purchased from gamestop.com:

SMT: Nocturne
Halo 2
and got Def Jam Fight for New York free.

Shin Megami and Disgaea are in and out of stock randomly, so you can check the site often if you're willing to risk getting it without box or manual. I want to play the game, and I'm not looking to put down the kind of mony I'd need to buy it on ebay.
 
A heads up for all of those whose gamestop may have run this only last weekend (like the local one here), mine restarted it today. I picked up:

A little on the expensive side, but I made out with six games for what I would have paid for only Doom and God of War new. I think I"m done for the summer though so no Kirby or Conker for me. I'll just have to wait until this fall when they are cheaper. :)

I traded in some crappy games for an extra 50% on each value. I paid 30$ for God of war and Metal Gear 3 and for free i got Fatal Frame on xbox. i am very happy w/ what i got.
 
Best day ever for me at gamestop! i used the b2g1 and found mgs2 complete and mint 24.99, toy story 2-disc box set 26.99 mint complete and got gitaroo man for FREE!
 
Came back from my local store. This was my haul:

Second Sight - Free ($12.99)

They also had a lot of the dog plushes from the new Harvest Moon game for the GC around the store. Looked really cool/cute so I preordered the game so I could get one.
