I just noticed a beatiful thing at Gamestop. The way I remember buying games during the b2G1 deal was that the clerk had the ability to maximize the discount or screw you over which always led me to make them do seperate transactions. For example, I bought Panzer ($7.99), Ninja gaiden($7.99), and Ultimate Spiderman($7.99), and three bargain games at $1.99 each. They use to have to discount the games manually so that they could either discount one of the $7.99 game to FREE and one of the $1.99 games to free, but I always got the clerk who said that the terms of the deals forces him to give him to give two of the $1.99 games for free because he had a moral and ethical obligation to look out for the bottom line so I always had to have them rering it in seperate transactions, now it comes up automatically and will look for the biggest discount for the customer. That is great, no seperate transaction and no need to keep an eye on the receipt to make sure it came through.
Also, I noticed that they, for some odd reason, keep the generic cases in the front, but when they get the actual games for you, they sometimes have the full games behind the counter. I hate that, since I will not buy a game without case and instructions, and I will pass on a game for that reason, and they wind up having the the full game behind the counter. So they got annoyed with me for asking to verify if they had full copies of games and they just said "whats the difference, you can print the art work and get tips and cheats online for free". Well, all in all, a good deal and I cant wait for next weeks b2g1 deal on PS2 and PSP. I am going to score KH2, Lumines 2, Makai Kingdom, and some more great games for my lacking PSP and Ps2 library. Thanks!
