oh? not bad then, how much is colosseum? and whats stopping people from just buying both games, getting the free gba and returning the pokemon games?
 
DANGGGGGGGGGGG I'm sooooo doing this! This is too awesome, I mean if you just buy the games and sell them on ebay or something, or just give em to blockbuster or whatever thats like only 30 bucks for a GBA SP. Hmm but ... I dont see it in the flyer anywhere.

Ah they hadnt updated my areas flyer yet which is why i didnt see it. And I'll go take a look...if I can get 2 cheaper pokemon games I'll go for it, otherwise I wont bother because I hate pokemon games and would rather have a DS. This is one heck of a deal though, especially if you enjoy pokemon games.

Isn't Mystery Dungeons coming out on the 18th? Just after the ad expires?

Notice the price of the Pokemon games, or the selection you get to choose from? Ouch.. Maybe not THAT good of a deal.
 
This deal is OK for non-Pokemon fans, but pretty sweet if you like the Pokemon games.

I'm pretty sure that the deal only applies to GBA Pokemon games, which as you can see, Zellers sells for an insane $50 + tax.

Mystery Dungeon will most likely be $50 as well, and as for the price drop to $20, in my experience, the Zellers around my area are extremely sluggish in adjusting their prices. (Their prices suck from the stores I went to)

Personally, I'd rather spend the money on a DS Lite, but hey, this is indeed a pretty good deal.
 
Ah forget it then I dont want to spend 100 dollars on games I wouldnt even play. Might as well buy a DS lite or just a regular DS instead...oh well....
 
Well if you enjoy Pokemon games then its a fantastic deal. Fire Red is a very great game...
 
Ya but 50 bucks? Didnt they just jack up that price? Look at Pokemon Fire Red its soon to be a greatest hits title. Thats means you'll be able to get 2 of those games for 60 bucks, which means you're really spending 40 dollars to buy this SP. I guess if you like pokemon its still a good deal, but if you don't like it like me I wouldnt bother. I'm sure there will be another bundle with a free game I actually like soon.
 
I doubt they will...thats basically like stealing a GBA SP then... doing that could even cost someone their job if it was against the rules and they weren't that observant. I'm too honest to do that >
 
Wait, couldn't you just buy two of the Pokemon games, get the free SP+ and then sell the Pokemon games/trade them in? Cause that wouldn't be a bad deal.
 
Chances are, the receipt will indicate that this was a special deal, and any good manager would let the Customer Service rep know not to allow returns unless all 3 items were brought back.
 
Holy crap, that is a great deal. Hell, if nothing else give the Pokemon games to younger relatives/friend's kids/whoever if ya don't want em and keep the GBA.
 
I saw this deal in the ad too. Great deal !!

This deal is for this week, likely ending the 14th or 15 of Sept. but not sure the exact end date.
 
Just to let you guys know, there have been some people saying that you actually get a free Pikachu doll, not a free SP.

If you look in the flyer, the "FREE with purchase..." advertisement is right beside a picture of a Pikachu.

That would be hilarious if the deal was actually for a doll and not the SP. :lol:

Confirm with your local Zellers - it is NOT a free GBA SP, it is a free plush Pokemon. They'll even show you that you have a variety to choose from.

Many of their employees were pissed off at the ambiguity of the flyer page - some people understood that it was a free doll, more think that it's a free GBA. I wouldn't want to be an associate there dealing with peeved customers thinking they were going to spend approx $115 and walk out with an SP & 2 games. :)
