Is it CAGurday yet?
With CAG 2.0 will it be easier to change one's user name?
I'm assuming this is going to remain the same. Although I'd still like one main Witness Relocation Name Change Request Thread in the CAG News & Feedback Forum instead of having to PM Cheapy with the request. I've seen people change their names and even the mods didn't realize that UserUX.2 was at one point UserX.1.

It will be really interesting to see what CAGs put in their blogs. While Destructoid has nice blog layouts, CAG has the awesome users.

The lady's onto something here. I've been wanting a name change, but don't want to bother Cheapy with my request.
Technically this isn't CAG classic; I don't think I'm wrong in saying this is CAG 1.5.

CAG 1.0 was on phpBB and had two skins: black/green and black/gold.
ahhh.... those were the days... so is this CAG 2.0? The site was down for a while last night but I can't tell the difference...
I would guess it will go live around 6PM EST on Tuesday.
All right, just 9 more hours to kill. That should be enough time for me to finish up my pigeon hunting in GTA IV. Then again, probably not.

Can't wait. :bouncy:

Blogging is going to be sweet. The only thing that I could see topping it is user videos on 'how to', or just something epic in essence.

Good way to market it this: full page spread on myspace.com's home page

I hope I can I become one of Cag's mega stars...
cuz I got alot to bitch about! :whistle2:#
Can we use HTML in the blog posts?
You can use the same bb codes that you use in the forums.
There will be some new ones which allow you to:
 • select what preview text appears before you reader clicks "read more" to get to the full post
 • float an image left, right, or have it centered (like every joystiq and destructoid post). Images will be resized automatically to fit. Clicking on an image will expand it to full size.
No site will give you full access to HTML as it presents a huge security risk.
Can we get an official list of changes?
They will be posted immediately when the site goes live.

So today is tomorrow? So is it coming up tonight US or tonight Japan?

Anyway, I do go to the homepage, but 90% of the time I just ignore it and go to the forums as soon as it loads.

Will CAG 2.0 support in-game XMB and cross-game invites?

Oops, wait...wrong thread!

Lookin' forward to the launch, Cheapy!

The front page usually tends to be a no-go for me, as I can find the deals much faster by looking through the forums.

If CAG 2.0 addresses this, I may be visiting the front page a bit more...

Wheels on the bus go round and round...
It will be very uninteresting to see what most CAGs put in their blogs. While Destructoid has nice blog layouts, CAG has the awesome users.
Adjusted.

I didn't read other people's blogs when I was at IGN, so I likely won't do it now. Anyway, I've already got a journal (god, I hate the word blog so much), and I've never been able to keep up more than one.
Be honest, how many people here are going to read other users blogs?
I'd say only about 6-8 blogs will be read by more than 10 people.

does anyone know what time toniight, preferablly eastern

I think cheapyd mentioned 6pm eastern as the destined time.

Speaking of blogs, I'll have one where I rant and rave about the things I dislike....
Like JRPG's,
Politics,
Mac gaming,
RROD,
Vista,
and
Nintendo.

J/k, but who knows

Heh, didn't know CAG 2.0 was going to have blogging. I was actually thinking of setting a small one up on dtoid or Impulse, but I guess I'll see how CAG 2.0's system is like.

How many people are not going to be lazy and actually take the time to write a blog?

I know I will.

I need to get back into writing about games and this would be a great platform for my reviews/news/possible features. CAG would be a great place to get noticed.

QFT. I think I hate it's derivatives more, though, like 'blogging' or when someone identifies themselves as a 'blogger'. Ugh.

On a more positive note, I'm pretty excited to see 2.0, although I probably won't be here to bask in it's (likely) glory for a few hours.
