Im becoming an arcade stick whore. I want to build another one and I want a TE too. I found building it not worth the troubl. If I could get a box built for cheap then no prob, woodworking is a bitch. I'll probably end up getting a 360 TE eventually, but they are going close to $200 here retail. Lets go economy!

Anubis, did you melt a gummy bear to that PCB? Great work mang.

I'm getting a T5 stick for cheap that I'll be modding soon. That is, when I can get a JLF for it.

I'm becoming an arcade stick whore too. I need more!

Added another to my collection. Ordered it on January 15th from Amazon, and just now got it.

Almost! I had set some glue from a glue gun to hold some wire for the sixaxis usb cable, at first I was trying to salvage the MadCatz PCB but then we figured we couldnt so we had to remove the glue by melting it and thats why it looks like that
Finished up my norris.
nice norris case, my plan was to build a norris case but they're impossible to get so i moved on to just modding sticks like the T5 and TE stick.

The stick whore in me will be getting a SF Anniversary stick soon. So that will make 1 Sanwa modded Namco, 1 Sanwa modded HRAP EX, 1 unfinished DC Agetec stick mod, 1 soon-to-be-Sanwa-modded Tekken 5 stick, 1 Happ modded SF Anniversary stick, and 1 Happ wooden box custom I made years ago.

. . .must get more sticks. . .

And I really like that Chun art, Milkyman. Looks great.

I found it on google somewhere, i vector magiced it, changed the colors added the splatters. Cutting it was rough, i dunno if my knife was dull or if i'm just dumb.

Nice art choice Milkyman

I've been thinking about getting the Anniversary stick myself to make into a ps3 stick, but then I keep remembering I have a preorder for the TE at capcom which one day might be fulfilled.

I'm getting the Anniversary stick for $35 shipped from a friend, so it's all good. Cheap enough, and I've always wanted one. :)

That's what he paid, and that's what he wants.

Question about my SFIV TE Stick that is rather stupid. When I move the joystick around it clicks. Is that how the stick is supposed to sound?

The reason I ask is because I can't remember sticks in the arcade ever doing this, though its been at least 10 years since I dumped a pocket full of quarters into SFII at the beach.

You lucky bastard !!!! I'm so jealous
some people use lamilabel from kinkos, i tried it and the damn thing was full of bubbles
Do you put it on top of the stock TE art, or do I remove it?

On the TE you can take it off and actually re-use it later, on the SE you take it off for good.

Got a question about my recently purchased SE stick. I opened it up to glue down the washer since mine is moving around and destroying the PCB. However, there's a C-clip in the way. How do I get that off without having C-clip pliers? I needa get it off so i can glue down the washer.

try pushing the actuator down, the black thing that butts up against it has a spring inside if you push it down that should give you more room to shove a flathead screwdriver in and pop it out, watch out though it might shoot off somewhere. thats what i did with my jlf when i needed to take it apart. you may have to remove the restrictor plate to get a good grip on the actuator.
man i'm in need of a TE stick right now... im getting tired of my mas stick. anyone got any info on the April restock?
keep calling stores around you, gamecrazy was getting them last week.
Not hard, just need a flat head screwdriver for switching out tops. For switching out the gates you just need to press some tabs on the sides on the current gate.
GREAT!!!

Now just to find a place with the GT-Y and bat top+adapter in stock.

Also: found a Hori PS3 Arcade Stick at Gamestop for $30. So I now have a project stick :D
nice zewone! did you vinyl dye the bezel?

Also, how did you color the shaft/dustcover?

The shaft is on upside down btw :( :)
I used glossy white spray paint for all three.

 How can you tell that shaft is upside down? Both sideslooked the same to me. I'll fix it the next time I open it up.

When you mess with arcades sticks as much as I do, you can notice these things from a mile away. It's weird. No one else here at work can notice it until I explained the differences.

When you look at the shaft... It should be like this / \ Not \ / Now that might be a little dramatic, if you look at this picture closely, you can see the difference....

Well... maybe.. lol. But trust me one end is fatter than the other. You can also tell by the way it fits into the inner dust cover. One end will fit looser than the other. You want the tight fitted end going in bottoms first.

zewone- Sick ass art. I like it alot

Ive seached and couldnt find where a 3.3/5v is on a Hori t5 pcb and a capcom jam hrap pcb. How do i go about trying to find it myself? I assume ill need to get a multimeter. But then what? Thanks to slagcoin i dont have this issue with pads! lol
thanks
i wonder what brand buttons and joystick they are using, markman said that was a knockoff case
the buttons cant be amazing, else he'd specify the brand to help sales. the casse looks like a knockoff SC2 stick to me.
Great wiring job. Top 5 on the internet.
Thanks, it turned out better than I expected it to, haha.

So I may be buying a mas case from someone in the area pretty soon. Would I have any trouble hooking up a perfect 360 to a cthulu in it?

My guess is no but I haven't tinkered with any of them yet.
anyone have Sanwa/Seimitsu parts for sale? Looking to mod my SE thats coming soon.
You'd have better luck finding WMDs.

Might have spoken to soon. gamingnow.net (posts on shoryuken forums) has vermillion and pink buttons in stock. Don't think anyone has JLF sticks.
