You guys are great! Thanks for the kind words. I wanted to combine my two favorite game series and it worked out pretty well. I'll also be doing a TE mod sometime in the future.

Now we just need Capcom vs. Bomberman :D

HI BILLY MAYS HERE.

Neither of the Marvel VS. Capcom 2 sources are all that reputable, are they? But still, I have a gut feeling that it's going to happen this year.

MusicNoteLess, why the yelling??

that ESRB site with the MVC2, isnt it legit? and hasnt it never been wrong....
donno much about that site, but its fishy that capcom replied right away and attempted to patch that whole thing with having MVC2 on PSN for evo.

...dunno how to take that. :whistle2:?

Nice custom art on your stick, btw. I've been messing around with the TE template for awhile. Anybody know where I can get video game related hi res (~2xxxX3xxx+) other than the neogaf thread?

I meant the 2 sources sited in that article. But the ESRB isn't 100% accurate all the time, either.

Music Note, when you said this:

HI BILLY MAYS HERE.

That was yelling. It was in all-caps, and also an annoyingly large font. Thanks for the compliment though!

I do not know how to use photoshop, but if anyone could do a few quick mock ups for me it would be much appreciated.

I'm looking to put some Clear Seimitsu PS-14-KN's Pushbuttons in my SFIV TE Stick. And switch the ball to a Clear Seimitsu LB-39.
If anyone has free time or is feeling nice. I would like to see how it might look before I purchase the buttons and ball. (whenever Lizardlick decides to open again)

Here's what I'm looking for(all mock ups on TE stick):
1. Clear White Seimitsu LB-39 Ball Top with 8 Clear White PS-14-KN Pushbuttons
2. Clear Red Seimitsu LB-39 Ball Top with 8 Clear Red PS-14-KN Pushbuttons
3. Clear White Seimitsu LB-39 Ball Top with 6 Clear White & 2 Clear Red PS-14-KN Pushbuttons
4. Clear Red Seimitsu LB-39 Ball Top with 6 Clear Red & 2 Clear White PS-14-KN Pushbuttons

Just finished wiring this up, I hope to be adding plexi and art to it soon to make it more interesting. It feels really good the way it is though. Wiring is a mess, but I had less room in there than I thought I would. Turned out to be a lot more work than I expected and after taking apart a sixaxis, i don't know how sony expects your average consumer to change their own batteries.

Great old stick, Milky. I love the two extra buttons you added. I started an Agetec stick mod and never finished it for some reason.

And yeah, you should practice wire management. :)

Congrats Blue!

Lol at usb cable in the window.

I ordered an AXISdapter from ShinJN last week. Box should be done this week. Who knows how long parts are going to take :S. Arcade Stick #3 isn't happening as fast as I had hoped.
Finished my template!

Now, When I go to kinkos, what should I ask for if I want my template to fit exactly on my TE?
i would suggest turning off the button holes and the panel box in the corner, a lot of people end up with some of the white showing after cutting their holes. instead, turn them off and print the full art and just use teh panel as a guide to cut the holes. no white lines. Could you point us to the source for the original image you used?

If you want to avoid doing lamilabel you can just print it on tabloid sized card stock and then get a laser cut acrylic panel from arthong on shoruken.com actually you could just send him your art and he'll use the laser on your art too. I bought an hrap panel from him and he's grade A. http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=183029

I actually like this, but I'd rather do something fighter related for once.
Ooohh, man! If I had a madcatz, I'd use that one!

That cammy one is super nice, too, but the button holes cover up the best parts!

Can i get/use an adapter for my xbox 360 Tournament Edition stick to use on my Ps3 and experience no lag?

thanks!!

Finally bought some supplies to finish up my EX2, so here it is all Finished (Minus Art). Sanwa Buttons & Ball Top + GT-Y Gate

Yes I changed the button layout.

Ahhh, that Gwendolyn art is really nice. I think I've stumbled upon it a few times.

I may decide to steal it one day, bwhahahaha!

Q for those with the skills to pay the bills: I have an AXISadapter on the way, and a MadCatz GameStick PCB. What do I need to get those guys running together in one box? Should I just loot the Cthulhu out of my other stick for the dual-mod, if thats easier?

The general rule of dual PCB setups is that both PCB's have got to be 100% common ground -1 ground connection for all the buttons -, the sixaxis controller is not common ground and the same applies to the MS wireless controller since they use more than one ground connection for their respective buttons.

Right now the most reliable way to achieve a dual PCB setup is via the Cthulhu board coupled with a madcatz common ground PCB.

Well I pre-ordered a SFIV Standard Stick from Buy.com that probably won't ship till sometime in May. Since Lizardlick is so behind in their parts I may not get replacement parts for quite a few months, are newer sticks still having issues from what people have heard? The posts on Shoryuken seem to indicate a lot of people are having issues but nothing from March and onwards shipments. I wanted to not mod my stick for a good 90 days so incase I had any issues Madcatz would replace since I heard they pay shipping cost on their behalf.

After you touch the TE stick and then feel the buttons on the SE stick, you'll want to mod it ASAP. My SE stick isn't having any problems with the stick, I played with it a good 20 hours probably, but since I got the TE I mostly let my friends play on the SE stick. I'm waiting for lizardlick to reopen to get parts, my SE stick had a loose screw inside from the 1st time I took it out the box. I opened it and tightened the screw, didin't really check on the washer though, but it seems fine for now.

there are a couple of other places you can try
akihabarashop.jp is closed right now but they seem to be under fewer orders than lizardlick
modchipman.com has some stuff selection isn't as good as lizardlicks and i think they just started getting seimitsu buttons in
gamingnow.net is open
laugh http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=174859 is selling stuff from korea (he ships quickly) but he only has one color of each item

also, the thing you'll need to keep in mind is that other sellers might not sell everything as a package the way lizardlick does. you may have to pickup a mounting plate, seperately, or a wire harness or a different colored ball top seperately.

For the SE fightstick you should be able to use the wire harness thats already in there, you can use the mounting plate on the Madcatz knockoff joystick but you may strip the screws getting it off.

We'll see...

Pretty stoked to get the new Sanwas... the colored plunger/black rim combos look really nice. I'm glad Sanwa started doing it.

Ah, nice. I thought those were Seimitsus. They do look really nice. Where did you get them from?
