CAG Call of Duty 4 Night [Wednesday, 8pm EST]

The new maps are hard for me to learn. And I still haven't even seen Killhouse. I've played 20-30 (maybe more) games on the new maps and I haven't gotten it once. What's that about?

edit: btw, I'm sucking on all maps all modes right now. I'm not sure what the deal is. I had worked my k/d to .66 and now I'm back down to .61. I feel like a n00b when I'm playing these days. At least I'm getting double XP. That's something...

I haven't played in a while. I need to get my chops back, even though I always suck on CAG night. Either that or all the CAGs are just that good that they get all the kills leaving me with nothing.

Is anyone going to start playing some games before? I'll be on right now if so.
 
Like I said before, I may either play new maps right away at 8pm, or wait until 8:30pm to play them, so some can play with us, such as you. And then when we do private matches, we'll see.

For those wanting into ranked games early, we will do new maps first:
from 8pm EST - to around 8:30pm EST. Those who do not have the maps, get on CoD4 around 8:30pm EST. Then, I'm thinking with the private match, we'll do old maps from 9:00pm EST - 9:40pm EST, then do new maps for the rest of the night. At 10:30pm EST, I cut off.
 
Oh man, when did the game time get bumped up? I just got the new maps but I was out driving around and now I already missed the ranked games? :whistle2:|
 
Great games. I think I'm actually getting better. The hardcore DMs on Killhouse and [I forget the name of the ME map] were a lot of fun. And wow... Headquarters on Shipment. :twoguns::twoguns::twoguns:

Anyway, not sure how I will do next week, because I cannot attend for very long since I have to get up at 4:30am the next Sunday, for commencement.
 
I was pretty damn good at the 360 version and my 360 red lighted. Any reason I shouldn't trade my Xbox 360 version for my friend's PS3 version straight up?

I dont think Haze will surpass it ever, but the combo of Haze and GTA seems to be pulling mad peeps away. My friends list has been doing a COD4 no-show, save for naes, sprintfinance and a few non-cags. Its weird cuz its all I used to play and now I dont want any part of it. I guess MGO has something to do with that as well.
 
While I think it will be fall until most players migrate, I still think Haze has a good chance of paching a few players because COD is going on 6 months old now and some are looking for a fresh change. This is presuming that Haze gets decent reviews.

Smog I kinda feel the same way. The only time I've touched COD was on the last COD night. Before that it was double XP weekend. Sad really.
 
iwould be playing but the ps3 is kia unil schools out. im on the PC version though if anyone ever wants to play that
 
I played COD 4, maybe a couple of nights ago I believe the time away from it helped me because I did pretty well. GTA4, MGO has definitely made cut back on COD 4.

I am so looking forward to summer to have more time to play games, because my kids will be out of school and I don't have to get up at 7am everyday and will also have some time off of school myself.
 
cod4 is a different style of fps than haze is. I don't see many people going away because of haze. I think gta4 has hurt most cod4 nights since most people are just playing gta4. but for me it has mostly been pc fps games + finals. I haven't really played my ps3.
 
I chose TDM since I knew you didn't want to hurt your Kill to death ratio. ;)

I didn't play for long because I had trouble sleeping, and decided to randomly turn on my PS3, saw you playing CoD4, and decided to go ahead and play a game or two. I know you didn't have a headset and couldn't talk back, but could you hear me?

I could hear you. what kind of headset are you using ?
 
FYI Haze demo is on the europe store

It has single player and coop

Graphics aren't that impressive at all, really blurry 576p. But I guess you will be able to get a good taste of it. I don't see it surpassing COD4 online

But lets not get into Haze in this thread.

Anyway, I noticed it's taking me a very long time to rank up. I wonder if I'll ever get up to level 30. ;)

Headquarters is an easy way to rank up. If you're on the winning team it's 250 points even if you don't fire a shot. Also remember to switch up your guns as maxing each one out gets you a whole bunch of experience.

Of course ideally you'd want like Search & Destroy as each kill is 50 points and you can gain extra points from planting/defusing the bomb.
 
If I show up, I can not stay for long because I have to get up at 5am tomorrow morning because of graduation. Sorry about that, but I can at least invite some initially.
