Congratulations to the entire CAG community as we beat our goal of $40,000, raising a whopping $42,810! Thanks to all who participated including our great corporate sponsors Play-Asia, Telltale Games (Tales of Monkey Island), Capcom (Dark Void), and Blueberry Muffin Tops Cereal.

In 2008, CAGs raised over $32,000 (up from $27K in 2007) for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity. This year, let's see if we can hit $40,000 before the year is through.

For every $5 donated via PayPal through the CAG ChipIn system, you will receive one entry into a raffle to win a $500 Amazon Gift Certificate or other great prizes! Last year, the CAG Community donated some really cool and generous prizes and I'm sure the tradition will continue this year. I expect the prize list to grow and grow until the very end of the fundraiser.

You must donate through the ChipIn system or your raffle entry will not register. Use any of the ChipIn links in this post or the widget below. Just click the "ChipIn" button to donate. Donations are accepted via PayPal and go directly to Child's Play. ChipIn tracks our donations as a group, but the money is immediately deposited into Child's Play's PayPal account.

Would anyone be interested in a random UNWORN shirt from PAX as a prize? If there is interest I can see if I can get some up on the prize list.
 
Glad that our community does nice things like this. Always get a little fuzzy feeling chipping in. Going to go home tonight and search my media shelves to see if there's anything I can pitch in towards the raffle.

No. I donated a Condemned 2. It just gives more incentive to donate money.
 
Good for $50... Do you have to be logged in to CAG before you contribute or just click the button from CAG? I donated before logging in to CAG.
 
Strange, tried to put in a donation, hit Pay Now and after a while the button went back to being click-able without any status changes. Anybody else have a similar problem?

I think you guys might like the PS2 package...God of War 2, Bully, Devil May Cry 3, Beyond Good and Evil....cheaper games, but classics.
 
Donated $40. Quick question. My paypal is linked to a different email than the one i use on cag . How will people know if they win anything? Will it be cag user name or paypal email?
 
Could only throw in $10 right now, but might be able to do a little more after I finish the christmas shopping for the year.

Well, I was hoping to donate more, but it looks like I owe two grand in hospital bills after a recent surgery :whistle2:? Here's a bump, anyway.
 
Donated $10 and a few games for prizes - hopefully they'll show up soon. Hmmm...if every CAG donated just $5 how much would that be total... I feel it's the least we can do considering how much we've all saved (spent? heh) from CAG. Wish I could do more - maybe later in December. Thanks CheapyD for introducing me to Child's Play, I didn't know about it until recently - it seems like a great cause.
