CAG Gaming Group - Call of Duty 4 Thursdays

I'm not going to make it tonight since I have to get up pretty early for a 6hr drive. That is unless I can sneak in a quick game or two by the wife before hittin' the sack.
 
I'm on now. I don't have anyone on my list, so can I get an invite if someone happens to look in here?
 
JQA, thor, CAG Chrono and I had some good matches yesterday afternoon, so I would say that it might be safe for CAG to get back into the water. I know I missed our nightly session last night. Chasemurata joined one of my games last night right as I was getting off though.

Also, now supporting Khondor's sweet sig picture. Lame that I can't have my gamer card and this, but when it comes down to between the two, this one wins.

Why can't you have both in your sig?

Also, I should be on tonight if you guys are on. Got some homework but nothing major, so it should be a good time.

I have the same issue.. I really want to do what your sig is (gamer tag pic and link and the COD gif but I cant figure out how to get it to work)

I still can't get two images in. Pawn, how'd you get yours to work?

Also, is it just me, or is my gamertag gi-freakin-normous in the scrolling text? Perhaps it is because mine is all caps while everyone else is lowercase, but it still looks huge.

Sweet.. that worked pretty well, doesnt display the gamer tag image, but makes the gift Linkable to it so it works none the less.

Ah, I see. Does the forum allow two images in a signature? If so, you'd just add

Use this code to get both in your sig:
replace * with [


*url=http://profile.mygamercard.net/YOURGAMERTAGHERE]
*img]http://card.mygamercard.net/YOURGAMERTAGHERE.png[/img][/url]

Place that code with your gamertag in your sig, then click the 'insert image' button and link it to:
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-10/1222389/CAG-COD4.gif

And you should be good to go
 
For some reason I've been going to sleep when I get off work instead of playing Cod, but I'll be on tonight @ 1AM. Probably only a few games as I should probably get started on my taxes. I'll have to see if I can earn my way onto the much ballyhooed (and deservedly so) sig.

So will anyone still be on at 8 Pacific/11 Eastern? It seems that the groups always disband soon after I get on due to the time difference, but 11 Eastern will actually be 2 hours earlier than usual for me due to no Smallville or Lost.

That's my problem too. I always get on about 9 p.m. PST and there's only a handful of people still playing. I'll try to be on about 8 p.m. PST but we'll see how that goes.

Its cool. We all pretty much disbanded after you left as I was incredibly sleepy.

I wish I had a camera to record the view I had when I was crouched down and all of you were circled around me pointing your pistols at my face. It really was like some weird kind of porn.
 
i had fun ... had a couple of high scoring matches.
Even was on the opposite team of CAGs at one point.

I was only planning to play if the new maps came out... it didnt and i still played even tho i have some essays to write.... all well.

Let alone you guys go on at nonexistent times. I had my system on until a little past 9pm EST with only one person on my list playing the game. I then come to this thread and maybe 5 people reply about playing last night, with video of like 12 people jumping in Old School Hardcore like some Halo fanboys.

Man no wonder why CheapyD and Wombat have moved onto RSV2.
 
I wanted to get in some CAG games, but they were full. By the time Simon DI and chasemurata invited me, I was in a party of 6. Simon messaged me back when I told him this, but Chase and the others didn't. Meh. new maps in 4 hours!

Good times last night. Who'd have thought you could have so much fun NOT playing a game. Thanks for the videos, Khondor- it's pretty eerie when everyone stops jumping and runs to the edge of the roof seemingly unprompted, and the random knifing during the group photo was priceless.
 
wait, wait...that is what you guys were doing last night? Maybe I'm glad I couldn't get an invite to that. I'm sure it was a "you had to be there" kinda thing.

It was definitely a you had to be there moment, but it was really funny. This was after we had already played for a while also.
