I was on for a bit last night with JQA and DCriminal, but I had to leave pretty early. Maybe today we'll have some more people online.

I agree, it's not much fun unless there are at least two or three CAGs in the room.

Good fun tonight, even though I think I only went positive in like a game. I think I like drunken JohnQ. better than sober JohnQ. Someone needs to mail Joe an HD-DVD player along with Peter Jackson's King Kong.

Also, Next CAG COD4 Thursday is officially formal wear only. I'll be sporting my tie.

Indeed, I like drunken JQA a lot, hes so laid back and fun.
We actually got decimated in that one match and he didnt have a heart attack, he was too busy talking to joe about Peter Jackson, Adrian Brody, and Jack Black :lol:

Guess id better get my Tux out.

Damn, I should have just played COD4 with you guys. I was too busy playing the frustrating B.O.B. (Bluray of Bullshit) known as Metal Gear Solid 4. Garrrhhhh, I miss the CAGs this weekend.
 
I spent the weekend beating the first Metal Gear Solid (Wah, wah ...). My B.O.B. was used frequently this weekend.

As for anybody else here ... any plans to play Metal Gear Online? I'm going to try it out soon and I know Khondor said he might try it. Anybody else going to play it or are you too busy hating the PS3?

Alright... My 42 hours of work in the past 3 days have finally taken it's you know what out of my rear and I am ready to play some COD 4...



tomorrow. Cause I can't keep my damn eyes open now. I will be on starting about 9 EST tomorrow (Monday) and possibly during the day. I rented MGS4 to play at my brother's, but I don't know his PSN.
 
Well, I will definitely try and be on before COD THURSDAY, but if not....I will attempt to get on Metal Gear Online.

Fleshribbon, I see you sent me an invite, but I was in the middle of the most intense shit ever (and I actually wasn't dying a million times) and by the time it was done, you signed off :(

Oh, and I have a PS3 Headset too!
 
Are bluetooth headsets hard to come by? I know most of us CAGs should have had an easy time of getting a great deal on one if you didnt already have one :)

Those were some good games that night. The whole session was really laid-back and fun.


I was out of town again yesterday, so JQA, I still haven't played MGS4 :oops: I should be able to try it out tonight.

And it looks like I'll need a headset. Any recommendations? I was thinking about the Logitech Vantage, but reviews for it seem mixed.

I will be buying SOCOM when it comes out in september
and that includes a bluetooth headset that looks totally awsome

yea, but me and JQA were battling it out with kills. we tied the first game with 26, but he had less deaths than me, and more assists. The second game however :p i had like, 28 kills and less than 10 deaths i think. i won that one :D

yea dude, i just picked up a blu tooth headset and MGS4 and Uncharted. TH:proving ground will be in the mail soon along with Unreal Tournament 3.

and mike just bought Ninja Gaiden 2 :X

But...I am getting a PS3, and an HDTV, Specifically a 61" LED DLP Samsung LCD HDTV with 7.1 surround sound system.

On black friday.

I want to pop my game in but I still want to beat MGS 2 and MGS 3 before I do. If you bug me enough, I'll register sooner than later.

As for COD 4, I don't think MGS 4 will take away too much of my 360 gaming. There's room in this world for both systems. Can't we all just get along?

Get that Install, and online update, plus registartion out of the way at least
so when you are ready to play you can just put it in and go

and im never leaving COD4, until COD6 at least...

-I got on COD4 last night and I didn't see anybody playing so I tried some MGS4 to kick my @ss...geez I'm having a problem staying unseen and not resorting to piling up bodies. I can't seem to get close enough to enemies to taze them without getting knocked to the ground. I finally stopped retrying to keep from resorting to killing people. Regardless, I'm really enjoying the game....for the time-being.

-JQA, I'll send you a PSN FR this evening now that I know your id. I've sent one to several of the others here already.

-I got one of those snazzy Mk.II looking headsets but I have yet to open it.

-BTW, anyone who hasn't fired up MGO, you'd best do it before we try to play because there is an update you have to download (I would suggest the HTTP download over bit-torrent though).

-Also, one more very important thing, everybody together now, what sound does the Gekko aka cow make...."Mooooooo!!!" :D

But Fleshyboy is right, download that update via the HTTP as opposed to the Bittorrent method.

Also, one more Metal Gear thing, and then I'll get back to purely discussing COD on this thread; I, also, have killed pretty much every single enemy in the game :(

I can't sneak around for shit! ...at least I'm getting tons of Drebin Points!

Anyways, I will attempt to play a little COD4 tonight!
 
Thanks to you guys I'm strongly considering to go get MGS4. I still won't have a headset though. I just don't see how any online game could be more fun than COD4, especially on the PS3.

I just went so far as to add you all to my PS3 friends list (I know Khondor has been waiting most of 2008 for that. haha) so I can switch on my PS3 and be like "hey assholes, come play COD4."

Hahaha. I didn't even know how to accept friend requests. Heck, I didn't even know I had like six waiting for approval. I think I've been to that section of the menu bar like once before.
