Great set of [GTA] races tonight. I can't believe we never did a van race before -- that should definitely return. Although yeah, Exhaust Fumes is even longer than it looks.

And wow, some tragic near-escapes in C&C tonight, but at least they were at the end of some epic chases. Way better than last week.

Also, new favorite cop round, first flipping our car in a ditch, only to grab another and have it magically fall off the bridge into the water :lol:. We did not win that round, I don't know why really.
 
Free mode with cops on, friendly fire off and powerful weapons would be a fun way to start off CAG night one of these nights. Let's see how much mayhem we can cause in LC in like 5-10 mins.
 
Actually, there IS A first person mode I believe, which can be accessed by pressing Select a couple times or so.

I tried it in a car one night(and someone on YouTube made a video ala Naked Gun in that mode in that mode) and it's just too friggin claustrophobic for me in that mode.

I think any time you press and HOLD L2 to aim it goes into a FPS view.

I was out doing errands today and drove by this store called Donut Field so I just had to go in. There was no field of donuts but it turned out it was actually a combination donut shop and Salvadorian taqueria so that was pretty awesome. Got an excellent pupusa lunch but then after that I was no longer in the mood for donuts. Plus having pupusas and Coke followed by a donut is excessive even for me.

EDIT: Nevermind. I just looked it up and I have to say that unless it came from Taco Bell, I haven't had any type of food from south of the border as of late.

Mind you, I've been itching to get back to this one Indian restaurant around here. They have a daily buffet that is incredible.

Taco Bell is about as Mexican as Pizza Hut is Italian.

And... Pupusas...
I live in hell with a regional Hispanic population density of about 0.61% (I read it on wikipedia, so it must be true... I actually thought it was less.) so the only "Mexican" restaurant in the area is Taco Bell (we had a Chi-Chi's... but, well, we all know what happened to those after someone forgot to wash his hands after taking a shit...) so I had to look up what it was... but damn it sounds tasty. :lol:

They DO sound tasty, but I sincerely doubt I'd pay more than value menu price for one or two. :lol: CAG has ruined me as a normal consumer, though I admit that I'll still splurge on stuff I REALLY want($50 for Demon's Souls).

But for games I just refuse to pay full price for MOST of them anymore(see above for recent exception to that rule). Then again, prices seem to be dropping very quick on most of them anymore.

Haha, Chi Chi's... We had that craphole up here back in the 80's. The year they closed them all down in the U.S., I happened to be going down to Philly/Atlantic City for March Break. I brought back a big container of their salsa for a friend who was crazy about it. I thought it was just watery crap, but she loooved the stuff. She still complains about how Chi Chi's are all gone, and would love that recipe...

I didn't really like their food. I'd mainly get appetizers. One time I got a sampler platter and there had to be a whole head of shredded lettuce both on top of and below the nachos/appetizers.
They still sell Chi-Chi's branded salsa, at least down here (and various places online), not sure if it's exactly the same stuff though (I don't like salsa much), but I did find a copycat recipe you could send your friend.

However, I looked all around the house and found NO PACKAGE. I hope the idiot just scanned it as 'delivered' and just forgot it on the truck or something, since I really wanna play the game now that I realized you can turn off those motion control segments.

I hope he didn't deliver it by accident to the morons up the street, since I think they're the type of people to keep something package shaped that gets delivered to them accidentally. :bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb:

I don't know if I should be happy or sad that Cheapest picked us to share his feelings about Heavenly Sword and the USPS...

Side note... I'm not too far from the Chi-Chi's that had the Hep-A outbreak and actually ate at that specific restaurant several times, I'm pretty sure at least once the year of the outbreak as well. :lol:

Move that decimal right 2 spaces and you're here in south Texas. I can't go more than a few blocks without hitting a little greasy spoon taqueria, which I'd choose any day over Taco Hell (even if my espanol no es bueno and my white skin glows like the sun).

So what was this thread about? Oh yeah, GTA! Hopefully this week I'll make it in time for some races and DMs. See y'all Wednesday.

It all depends on price for me usually. If the 'better' Mexican restaurants are more than .79, .89 and .99 on their stuff, then I'll pass. But I DO make an exception with the Indian food, but only very rarely.

They just FINALLY built a Sonic around here and it's been packed during normal business hours and impossible to get into. I had to travel with a friend about 2 hours from here to hit the closest one that was to us before.

I hate that this area seems to be behind on all of the places they advertise the hell out of around here(Sonic, Jack In The Box, Popeye's on occasion).

Of course, if I wanna hit Popeye's I can go to Randy's neck of the woods as there's one off the first exit for Middletown off of I-84 up in NY state.
 
I'll be on for about 30 tonight and then I gotta go for about an hr. Someone from craigslist is coming by to look at something

Yeah. That's the one. They also just finished one just to the south of Stroudsburg on 209 in the Poconos as well. The closest one prior to them opening the one by the WVM was Lancaster.

Now all we need is a Popeye's(or I could just take a looooong jaunt up your way to look for guides/games and hit the one in Middletown)and a Jack In The Box and then it won't be so bad since we'll have some choices round here besides BK, Mickey D's, Wendy's and Arby's.

Then they just need to expand store chains like Meijer's, Fred Meyer and a couple other ones that I see having insane deals on new games and I'll REALLY be happy.

So, is the Dragon's Den still open up in Poughkeepsie? I used to hit up there with a fellow local CAG(shiningslade)who hits up the Newburgh, Poughkeepsie and Middletown stores for games/guides.

Of course, you may wanna use the two hours before the games start for some practice, since it can get pretty brutal at times.

So you're saying we should start it up around 9 pm(now) or so? :D I've always kinda wondered why the fuck we don't start till 10pm, since that seems kinda late, but I guess that's the average time many game nights start.

I gotta reset my router and modem before CAG night tonight though because I haven't done it in a week or two now.

I just wonder if PSN is fixed by now or not since I got a 8002AD23 or whatever PSN network error the other night and apparently so did ALOT of other people.
