hey just so everyone knows the texans cowboys trade with foster and the 2 first round picks may have more to add to it before it get a finalized approval

Congratulations pitfall! I think you are very deserving of the win. To Matt Young, wow dude, you really brought the Steelers back and almost won the SB.
 
I lost in the most heartbreaking way imaginable: Down 21-20 after a late Packers score in the final minute, I drove into Green Bay territory and called a timeout with 3 seconds left. The 49 yard kick, I got 100% on the meter, but it came up mere inches short.

Texans trade there 1st round pick to the cowboys

Texans trade cowboys first round pick to the browns

Browns trade there first round pick to the Cowboys

Trade info needed for the trade picks
Texans first round pick is #3
Browns first round pick is #7
Cowobys first round pick is #20

reason for involing the browns was to move up in the draft by giving him the cowobys first rounder instead of keeping it my self and also giving him my second rounder to make the trade even for the spot he is losing in the first round which his first round pick was worth the 2nd rounder becuz of how high up in the draft it is

now that the superbowl is over this needs approval
also to note all parties involved in the pick have agreed to be in party on xbl to exchange pick info so that is already sorted out

Can't wait for the draft on Saturday!

Also, DVO, that trade looks fine to me. It's really less of a 3-way and more of a follow-up trade between you and the Browns. For anyone confused by all the switcheroos, it's trading the #20 pick and a 2nd rounder for the #7 pick.

You drop as many players as you have picks.

EDIT - Actually, ya know what...I take that back. If you have retired players, you probably can subtract them from the total you need to drop.
 
Anyone interested in RB Michael Turner (92, A, 30)?

I would be looking to get back a combo of any of these (not all obviously):

- 1st, 2nd, 3rd round picks
- Lesser RB
- Decent slot WR/CB
- RG
- TE

I agree and disagree.

My team mostly improved, or stayed about the same. Chris Johnson improved and is now the highest rated HB in the NFL (Tied with AP and MJD)
I am disappointed Locker didn't improve as much as I thought, and my star CB went down because he was injured most of the season. Thankfully my offensive linemen stayed about the same (All rated above 80)

Edit: My TE did not improve like I had hoped. Any one have a TE they want to trade away in exchange for one (or two) of my high draft picks?

Retirements can be checked from the league main screen (on XBox, not website)..should be under Rosters or whatever. It has its own separate area.
 
Speaking of retirements..

JaMarcus Russell has decided to hang up his cleats for good. I am not for sure what to think right now, but I hope our league is strong enough to survive the impact of this decision.

ya i kinda realize that but doing it this way saves me a core player trade instead of spending it to move the draft picks myself so it made more since in my mind and the other two parties were fine with it as well so it all worked thansk for the quick approval though

also now that we are in the off-season are blade and i good to send leshoure to my team and shipley to his for the trade i made with him now

to a monster sized overall 95 and i looked at dez also figured u would be curious hes a 90 overall

foster is in FA and ready for a ride back home to houston hes a little upset since he sold his house there just to end up coming back and having to buy a new one lol

also to note blade shipley is in FA as well waiting for u to pick him up and cowboys are waiting at the airport for leshoure to get there

Yea I looked at TE Texans last night and was very very pleased! :) I agreed with Blade on some aspects! CUSHING WHO WAS A rated and at like 86 went to an 84? Wtf?

has there been any word on us possibly moving up to a 4 core player trade cap this season at all just curious becuz i was hopnig we would boost it up this year since we have a draft this season therefor people like to make more trades and makes things a little more interesting

really looking at my cowboys rating on defense makes me want to throw up in my mouth was hoping to get some offense in this draft but offense looks good enough to get by this season but with that defense i would be screwed time to step it up and change the draft board and get some offense going fast could be a very very rough season 2 for me i got to think and pull soemthing together quickly

Hey guys, I'm gonna have to pass on this next season, I'm still not sure what's going on with Microsoft, and I'll probably miss a good chunk of the start of the season before my X-Box gets fixed.

I wouldn't want to start a season asking for subs.

I'll let you guys know whenever I get the X-Box issues figured out, and it's possible that I will just hop in mid-season again if thats cool.

Great playing with you guys, I really enjoyed all of my games.

Can a commish remove me from the Cardinals and the Chiefs on the OP?

Also if someone wants to switch teams I recommend going to the Chiefs, they have so many a few really big play makers and are really fun to play with, just need a little depth at CB and at the D-Line in the draft.

really wish u wouldnt go bro i would sub for you until u can return and i would drop raiders from ym secondary and use the chiefs as my secondary until ur return would that work for u. and u could jsut draft from ur computer

You're not allowed to sign free agents in the offseason, to prevent people from signing all the amazing FAs as soon as the season is over.

My pick is really #7? DVO, I might have to think more on this then. I didn't realize you were moving up so high? You willing to offer anything else in the deal? What number is your second round pick?

No, like the game won't let you, lol. It doesn't matter when you try to do it, it'll say servers unavailable or whatever. Sorry, should have been clearer. Since you guys dropped the players into the FA pool, the game prevents you from adding them.
 
Are we going to do like the other league and try to pause between rounds and such? I'd also recommend we don't make the time anything quicker than 30 seconds between picks at least for the early rounds. I think 45 would be better.

Should I cut players yet for the draft? I know it does auto cuts at some point.

I think doing the 1st round at 45 seconds is reasonable, but pausing between every round would get kinda tedious...and I've gotta get my picks ready too. Most people (at least ones who didn't acquire a million picks) are going to have 31 picks between each one they need to make (does anybody know if the CPU takes the full time to make their pick or picks right away?) At 30 seconds...that would be 15 minutes between picks (not accounting for teams taking less than 30 seconds). I would hope that would be enough time to get your next pick ready.

And I guess LV is definitely out, so I'll go ahead and remove his info from the OP...along with G33's, which I hadn't removed yet either. Looks like we might need to do a little "secondary shuffle" for next season with four teams unclaimed again.

As for this trade, I haven't seen any objections, so might as well OK that one too. It looks pretty even to me. I think the 3rd round pick balances any progression/regression that might separate the two.

Yeah, it was a classic. As for Driver, I knew about him retiring from playing as Green Bay in the other league, but I am pretty sure he was the only decent player to retire after the first or second seasons.

wasnt this trade already approved by the league. not to say i wont add a little something but im almost positive that it was up for discussion and approved by the commish. i would be willing to throw a 5th or 4th rounder to u but cant do much other than that bro

He is a 84, which is what Cushing dropped to. I thought Robinson was a bit young to drop until I realized that Cushing did. That is a huge WTF.

Like I mentioned in PM, I always said I needed to know my final pick before I approved things. I never expected it to be that high. To be fair though if you're willing to give me the 5th and it is okay with the league I'll take that. I'd really want the fourth because you're moving up quite a bit, but since maybe I wasn't clear on things I'll take the 5th if that is okay. I think that is a reasonable trade.

ya that was never clear lets talk more about it in pms and see if we can find something to make us both happy so that no one feels screwed over by the way just so u know the message above wasnt a slam by any means i re-read it and it may have came off that way to u or others i just want it to be clear that it wasnt in any way
