CAG League Sports: Madden 12 "JV League" - We Finished 3 Seasons! Thanks Everybody!!!

Cowboys vs Eagles

Game should be over, not sure what the score was, Doc and I were going over our teams and saw they were playing

yeah yeah yeah im still here . been super busy at work with a 4 day binge and inventory . we did get the game out of the way and yes eagles won 20-17 in overtime . was a great game all around and DVO21 is a stand up respectable guy ,i enjoyed talking to him throughout the game even though my phone and kids seem to turn on everytime i play madden lol . any it looks like a rivalry is on between eagles and cowboys ,close game . eagles are back into first place at 8-7 and 6-2 in the conf.

Hopefully the Steelers and Rams can work something out today. 49ers/Seahawks is left to play, too, but we haven't seen any real communication, at least not in the thread anyways, and they're both out of the playoff race so having to sim it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
yo kaster was good with orton
Wait, are you asking if he's still available for trading or are you complimenting my numbers with him? If it's the latter, thanks :D
Haven't heard from Matt Young at all today. Commish: OK to get a sub?
if your looking for a sub I may be able to get in on that tonight.
Haven't heard from Matt Young at all today. Commish: OK to get a sub?
Yeah, probably. Though, if I recall, you two had trouble getting in touch with each other for your Bengals-Steelers match up too, no? Have you PM'd him on here or on XBL? Given your records, I'd be more inclined to make him take a sub than you, but the game isn't meaningless for him either. Ultimately, the game needs to get played though...as I don't intend on holding up the deadline for it.

I have PMed him, messaged him on XBL and wrote in the forums. We've swapped communications for several days now, but I can't seem to get a commitment on a set time.

Ok, well it's probably fair to look for a sub then. Like I said, as long it's played by midnight tonight (or a little after...I'll be watching UFC tonight).
OK pitfall: i am good to play probably around 9 p.m. EST or so. If you can't do that, I can do later too!
9 works. See you then.
lyric, play the best you've ever played for me. :) Well, as the Rams anyway. Let your Bengals opponent roll all over you, heh.
LOL I believe the Bengals game is simmed. But I will do my very best!
Yeah, n8. Get on that shit before you watch some sweaty guys roll around a love den.
Sounds a little homophobic there. You sure you're not hiding some unspoken desires? :)

Also, Matt Young has been booted/re-invited.

Now it's time for a hand party.

Wow, that was rough. Steelers get dominated 35-14 in the snow. I really should've used the Green Bay or Jacksonville playbooks because I couldn't find any plays I liked in the Pittsburgh set. GG, lyric. There's no way that James Laurinaitis doesn't win DPOW. Or Bannan, who had 5 sacks, I think.

Big Ben went 11-36 for 241, 0 TDs, and 6 picks. Yeesh. He's no Aaron Rodgers, that's for sure.

Sorry, Matt Young. You're still in playoff contention, at least. UMX should be happy with the Steelers losing.

Rams 35
Steelers 14

In a virtual blizzard, St. Louis righted its ship with a 35-14 win over Pittsburgh.

The Rams defense kept the Steelers out of rhythm, causing six turnovers and notching five sacks (all by Justin Bannan). James Laurinaitis had a tremendous game, with three interceptions and two of those run back for touchdowns (including a 99-yarder).

Offensively, the Rams did just enough. Sam Bradford was 7-of-11 for 118 yards. Steven Jackson had 140 yards on the ground and two TDs.

GG Pitfall and thanks for subbing. The only curious call was when you went for it on 4th and 7 early in the second quarter from the STL 47. The score at the time was 7-0 Rams. I figured you were up to something, because it took you so long to make the call. Still, would want to know what the league thinks of that call. I certainly would punt it there ... However, that play went for a 34-yard gain for you and led to the tying TD. So, in hindsight, that WAS the right call.

Okay everything is falling into place. :) Now if the Bengals take a sim loss and beat the Ravens next week. It all comes down to me and the Steelers in the final game.

After taking a break and thinking it over for the last few days, I'll be dropping from the league at the end of this season. This decision was made for several reasons, some of which are personal and I will not divulge. The games I played were mostly fun, and were, for the most part, enjoyable. I give props to N8 for keeping this league running smoothly and the rest of the league participants for playing with class.

As the Colts play a secondary team next week and as I eliminated the 49ers from playoff contention tonight, this leaves my highly anticipated rematch against the Rams as my last game. I'm hoping that this time around, win or lose, I can contain the Rams to 1-2 40+ yard plays and force them to grind out small 20 yard plays instead.

Sorry to see you go G33. I didn't get a chance to play you, but you were a good member. Understandable to have personal issues but if those clear up, I hope you reconsider joining again and working with us on whatever issues with the league you did have. Good luck man.

Damn, Bengals won the sim game. :)

According to the league site, that puts the Bengals at the top and me second. If I can win against the Steelers, I'm not sure who goes to the playoffs if the Ravens and I have the same record. Bengals definitely go if they win.

Hey guys: Taking a look at my roster, and both of my ROLBs are injured, leaving me with none. What's the protocol in this situation? Free agent? Play with a LOLB at that position?

EAGLES take the lead in the east with a division game against the redskins who look to be a cpu team until someone takes them ? will the eagles make the playoffs? will they make it in the wild card hmmmm? if they win out they are in , is how the owner jason williams plays it . if young can keep from bad throws and the eagles defense can continue to step up and make big plays ,the eagles can go far this year . new ownership seems to have sparked some much needed energy in a team stuck in limbo ! a close race this year in the west all three teams have a chance with very few chances left this year !

Not sure if it gets me in the play offs or not, but the patriots beat the Bill 37-7 and go 5-1 in their last 6 games to improve 9-7.

Yeah, that locks you into a WC spot.

Anybody else here picking up MLB 12: The Show next month? Like every year, I'm hoping the 2K series finally puts it all together, but we'll see. I still put quite a bit of playtime into MVP 2005, which is definitely my favorite sports game ever.

I will probably grab it, although not day one. Who's your team, pitfall?

I'm a Braves fan by heart, but a Reds fan by location. I usually end up using either one of those. I'm kinda looking forward to trying out the Marlins this year. Detroit should be fun, too.
