Lions get:
CB Chevis Jackson (OVR 68)

I believe they are both C potentials. Pretty much my CB depth for his RB depth.

I was going to say no to this deal as the offer came in right after the Brown deal was agreed to, but Brown's injury rating worries me so Westbrook is my insurance as a change of pace back to my new starter Jennings. Del Rio wanted a veteran presence in the locker room.

Wildly entertaining game... Chiefs had 4 or 5 players go down with injuries, and Jamal Charles (who is out for the season) decided to show his support for his team by showing up in full uniform and kept the bench nice and warm. Both QBs had abysmal games, but Cedric Benson earned his paycheck by putting up over 120 yards and 3 tds...

GG Ramesu. Week 17 should be fun :D

oops.. didnt see that cuz i aint think anyone was gonna make any offers so i aint bother to read anything about the deadlines. But can i be enlightened as to why its being done that way? I would think that as long as the actual trading of players is done after both teams involved have played their games and before the deadline, it would be legit...

Because the trading deadline was Week 8, not 9 - we said that from the beginning. The only reason it's happening in Week 9 is because we finished all the week 8 games last night. We advanced, but I was very specific that any trades would have to be done before games are played so they are post-week 8, not post-week 9. Hope that explains it.

iono, whatever. i already got screwed out of a first rd pick so i guess holding on to seymour makes up for it. Darth, Seymour will still be available in the offseason if he doesnt retire lol

He can't improve his stock any from #1, and his coach is likely gone, I don't see why he'd go back unless he really fears a lockout.

Bills-Bears can't get a game to stick and after both trying all the things we try I think it's just the servers. Thankfully it dropped on the first drive every time so nothing of substance happened. We'll try tomorrow night.
 
I think I may have missed the post. Did Azu already leave for school? If so, we'll need a sub for A Hard this week. He's on right now if Azu already left and anyone is available.

Okay, I'm opening up the Week 9 Free Agent Window. This will work the same way it did last time, in groups of 8 based on the XFN Power Rankings.

All 8 of these teams can pick on a first come, first serve basis, so you don't need to wait for the team ahead of you to pick (unless you're #9). I'd like to get this knocked out in two days.

One free agent per person. I don't want to hear "I never picked someone up last time!" You had ample opportunity.

Please post in the thread with who you pick up as well as who you dropped (you are required to drop a player to pick up a new one).

The first 8:

1. Chargers
2. Colts
3. Redskins
4. Jets
5. Seahawks
6. Browns
7. Falcons
8. Lions

This group will have until around 5PM EST, and then the next group of 8 can go.

Brown - change of pace
Karim - kick/punt returns
McCoy - IR
Westbrook - veteran leadership
Ogbonnaya - cut

I forgot I picked up Ogbonnaya when McCoy went down. I'll be dropping him instead of that WR next time I'm on. I probably have one RB too many (Westbrook), but you never know if he goes down or Brown goes down. I need at least one of those guys! Westbrook could always slide in as my main HB too. I haven't used Jennings much so I don't know how I'll like him yet.
 
superstar pmed me last night asking when we will be able to play, I sent back my available times, hoping to hear back when we are going to be able to get the game in
