Eagles v. Giants slated for tomorrow in the late afternoon. Eagles win, the division is tied, Giants win, I gain a 2 game lead...same exact thing as last week vs. the Cowboys. I'm still getting used to this whole "competing" thing :p

Phhttt ... Not to toot my own horn or anything but, I went from 5 games won over the course of 2 seasons in league 1, to being 7-2 (and losing those two games by a FG as time expired).
I'm waiting to get trounced by BV Week 14, lose all confidence, and miss the playoffs.
 
Zurezo and I tried to play twice, but apparently he is at his uncles and the internet keeps cutting out during the game. I guess we are going to try again later, but I am not available at all tomorrow (I have work and then doctoral class at night) so it will have to be after that.

I'm flattered you're looking that far ahead. I happily remember how the real life version of that game played out, so I'm hoping for a bit of a reversal of fortune there.
 
BV, I'm in the midwest and we are getting killed by snow. I couldn't even get home from work today (staying at a friends). I should be able to get home tomorrow unless the snow is nonstop. Should be available around 6 central but I will update you more tomorrow.

Just like Greg Thomas said we had some issues in both games. I was up big in both, and only ran 4 wide tight 2 times

Wow, I can't connect again. Ill mess around with my router settings tomorrow lexxon. Will you be able to play tomorrow?

Also BV can I sub for the Vikings against the packers now?

Have you tried setting your xbox as the DMZ? That works best for me, although my brother has it right now since his CoD wasn't even connecting. It has made my games laggier but playable even though I opened up the ports for myself too.

Yeah it has to do with nat type. I have strict so I can only connect to open (red worm). Most of the people in thid league have moderate which means they can connect to other moderates and open.

Depending what you guys end up doing with the vikes, I just cleared myself back to open NAT--had some XBL port forwards to my now defunct Xbox that must have been overriding the DMZ. We can try again, gbpackers, if you'd like.
 
God fucking damnit I am getting so tired of these fucking disconnects. Bears and Dolphins were in the 4th quarter of a lag free game which was one of the most intense defensive struggles I've ever played. No offensive touchdowns at all 17-6 Bears. Lag free up to that point. Christ.

Edit: Again. This time in the 1st quarter.

Edit 2: And again. Of course. The weird thing is the games are completely lag free and then just all of a sudden it cuts out, all three times. Which is even more frustrating than the usual laggy drop.

gbpackers and I had extreme lag in our game, no disconnects but he had trouble connecting until I was an open NAT, as mentioned in our posts earlier. We quit in the 1st quarter as it was nearly unplayable (even though I was about to score :p)

Offered him router/NAT help via XBL message if necessary, hoping to get the game in tomorrow as Friday is iffy for me.
 
Vikings subs are deadly, regardless of league. :D

This Dolphins game is even more huge for me now with a chance to grab a full 2 game lead over both the Pack and Vikes. He gave up on getting it in tonight I think so I guess we'll try again tomorrow. I really wish we'd been able to finish that 17-6 game even though I generated 0 offense. Pick sixes by DRC (beast) and Bowman were all the offense the Bears D needed.
 
Yeah, I had issues with Colts/Pats. Once we got disconnected in the first quarter and then again late in the fourth of a second try. XBL is just awful sometimes.
 
Yeah, I had issues again with BV for league 1 but, I had 0 lag immediately afterward with redworm. Weird. Just let me know when you want to try again.

Since you joined late and haven't yet picked up any FAs go ahead and pick one up. You need to drop someone as well though, post in the thread who you add and drop.
