I'm not going to kick someone just for being annoying in the forums. I've been trolled enough times it doesn't bother me. Someone would have to do something pretty extreme on the forums to merit expulsion. As long as you play fair in the game you'll always have a place in the league, don't worry about that.

i did. It's not that u dont belong, i've been in the lab working hard at my defense. A lot of your routes were easy to read because of the defense i was in and who i was controlling... just had to find the WR with the most space between him and the CB and cover him. After a certain point, you had to throw deep and that's never really been a good idea against me.

SN: I will be without Cedric Benson for 10 weeks, in addition to Carson Palmer being out for 3 more. Thats what i get for making that trade... dammit
 
I'll prob stick around, just try to care less. If I can't win with 8-10 beers in me, then I don't know what to say. I need to either step up my drinking game or my madden game. Something is wrong. No way I should lose like that, ever. I don't care if Deuce is John Madden himself.

Gg, yeah it looked like you were finding your stride in the second half pretty well, the fumbles were the only things stopping you from scoring. And I figured you were trying to do that at the end lol but I noticed every time you did that the play clock reset at 25 seconds so I thought you might have been doing that to end the game faster without kneeling or something...

Man I was so mad, that pick Willis dropped would have been taken back for six...but then I saw you were in prime position to pick a pass with Thomas but another player on your team stepped in front of you and batted it down lol, those situations are the worst...

I know the Seahawks suck, but at least you have a pretty solid FS to control...I think we still have another rematch coming up anyways.
 
uber - I don't think I could even find the power button on my controller with 8-10 beers in me, so as far as I'm concerned you're a fucking warrior. :D

a bit of an exaggeration on my part. I just did a recount and it was 8. definitely didn't hit the 10 ceiling. so in plenty fine condition to play imo. bad decision making all around. I got screwed on a couple plays I probably played a bit too nonchalant, but no excuse really.

For the record, if anyone's wondering what sort of shit they'd have to pull on the forums in order to get kicked it would probably take something like making up an inflammatory quote from a fellow league member implying that they cheat and then sticking it in a signature. :roll:
 
Looks like there should be a drunk madden league for us who likes to drink a 12 case and try to play video games (of course a few shots here and there)

I"ll stick out the league with MA and Doom, I'll take a bunch of losses but lay claim on my Packers for Madden 12.

I'll eventually pick up some skills.

I keep writing these long replies now that I, umm, settled down a bit. The last one I just tried got wiped thanks to my mouse that often likes to click back. ANYWAYS, the short of it was: I'm over it, but it's going to be a long off-season. I don't think my other teams will do a good job distracting me with their Ws anytime soon.

But just like in Madden, let the long trudge back to the post-season begin.

I don't know that it's broken, it's just very stringent in its methodology. I don't think it accounts enough for stuff like momentum or meaningful wins.

In the hunt: Steelers (7-5), Raiders (6-6)

This doesn't yet account for the Raiders' big win over the Jags last night, which definitely bolsters their playoff chances considerably. The Jags are still in the driver's seat for the 5 seed though.

4. Giants (8-4)

Things certainly got a lot more interesting with the top 3 seeds all losing last week, particularly in the NFC North where the Bears' once big lead has shrunk somewhat with both wildcard teams nipping at their heels. Additionally, the Giants have a h2h win over the Bears so could still move up to the 3. The NFC remains the conference to watch for playoff developments.

It might suck but, you also have to look at what everyone else is doing. It might seem broken that the 11-1 Texans are 3rd behind the 9-3 Bears who just lost a game. Look at the numbers for the Bears though, 413 PF and a league leading 154 points allowed. Also, SOS comes into play.

again it bugs me that a team that has been mostly played by subs is even in the playoff picture (vikings)

I'll finish out this season as the steelers, but I will have to decline for season 2. My job, which is handling workers' comp. claims, has been terribly time consuming. After work, I'm just as busy at home too. I had a blast in this league, just like the original cag league but I can't balance both leagues. I will remain active in the original cag league but not this unfortunately after this season.
