Anyone who made the playoffs with their current team is going to have a difficult time convincing me they need to switch, I'll say that right now.

Yes!!!!!! I will be accepting those awards on behalf of Patrick Willis who is in training camp right now for next season. Defensive player of the year is pretty flattering so thanks my loyal fans. Defensive rookie of the year was a nice bonus too, I'm pretty surprised at how much production I got out of Mays. Congrats to all the winners...can't wait til next season. Thanks for doing the awards BV, I really enjoyed reading them and voting for them. I can't believe how many openings we got...I didn't realize so many people left. That sucks...we should still have a good season though, I'm sure we'll attract a couple more newcomers. See you all on draft day!!!!!!
 
We're losing some great people, no doubt. I'm still hoping ubernes and BigAT in particular will reconsider, they both know they're always welcome.

We already have 2 new people who want in, so I'm hoping we can snag a few more and be almost full.

on second thought... nevermind. I just want to trade Zach Miller for a 1st rd pick and i'll be good :)
 
Tha reason I wanna switch teams because I wasn't informed about the new league and I had to select a team almost dead last when some good players got a good early pick
 
actually mog, the "good" players, got the last pick on teams in this league. The "bad players" got first picks, and as such, the better teams.

I understand that but the record that my broncos earned in the other league was 10-6 with that record I wouldnt of picked dead last...I would of had a better list of teams to choose from
 
Well no one was "informed" about the new league other than all the times we posted about it in the other thread. It wasn't like you didn't have the opportunity to sign up at the same time as all the other guys in the league, you know?

I think it's pretty obvious that the user matters more than what teams they have, and you did just fine with the Panthers.
 
The Panthers are full of young players with good potential, so they only get better from this point on. If you can already get to the Superbowl with the Panthers' raw talent in the first season...you should have even more success with them next season.

The AFCCG is scheduled for 8PM tonight. Once it's done I'll advance us and you can try to get the game in with either Cru or BigAT then.

I don't know how I feel about someone putting their best WR to #3 on their depth chart...I definitely know how I feel about someone running close 4 WR sets.
 
Tha panthers takes home tha hardware 52-10 we had 6 picks as a team but godfrey lead all with 3 picks and two returned for touchdowns

I just talked to my new boss for the first time and I'll have to go ahead and quit the league. Between the work load and the list of things I want to do while I'm here is more of a priority. Thanks for letting me take the Pats and kudos to bv for a well ran league.
 
Sorry, I completely missed that the game had been played. The EA site has been down all day. I'll advance us in a couple hours. I believe the draft prospects will be the same as the first year from league 1.

Also, the Pats are now open as well.. We're beginning to pile up the teams which are empty, does anyone know anyone who might want to get into the league?
 
I'm equally fine with either...that being Saturday or Sunday right? I'd prefer afternoon time as opposed to night...but I could definitely work around it if need be.
 
I'm hoping for Saturday since I have the #1 pick, and I recall something screwing up when Pacer had the #1 pick, wanted a QB, and the game auto-drafted a SS. I'll be back Sunday night, but night for me is late night for most of you, so that probably wouldn't be doable for most others.

I'm gonna toss this out there right now before we get to the draft:

Is anyone interested in taking over the day-to-day running of this league? Sort of a co-commissioner type thing.. I just have a ridiculously busy stretch of work coming up these next few months, and I could use some help if the league is going to keep going. I'd still maintain the OP and help out where I can, but stuff like updating the XFN site, setting and keeping deadlines and making sure all the games get played (I'd hand off the in-game commish reins as well). If there are no takers I'll keep doing everything, since I'm committed to keeping the league going, but I'm hoping there's someone who's been aching to try their hand at the wheel.
 
I could give it a shot...I wouldn't say I am aching to try my hand at it lol but I have a decent amount of free time so I'm willing to try and help. You'll have to explain a bunch of things to me though...like how to do all the commissioner stuff and update the XFN site. And how to trade Doom's good players to myself without his consent...
 
so if the Pats are unowned, do i get to keep my round 1 draft pick???

and i could do a sunday draft, but if it was anytime before 8pm est, i wouldnt make it

Sounds good. Obviously I'll still be here so I can explain everything to you and help where needed. I appointed you as a Commish on the XFN site and I'll hand over the reins in-game later. The most important thing to remember is to never leave the league (to sub or what have you) while you have the commish role, since it will delete the league. The rest you'll figure out as we go alone.

Your first responsibility is deciding when we do the draft. ;)
 
Alright idiots...now that I have achieved my life-long goal of commissioner here, I will be assuming more of a dictator role. We are doing the draft in 5 minutes...whoever is not there, tough luck! Games will advance immediately after I finish mine each week. Free agency is now known as the 10 bucks agency, as in you have to wire me 10 dollars paypal per free agent you pick up or you're out of here! Any questions?
