CAG MLB 10: The Show League Original Teams Finish 1 game by June 13th

I got another Blu-ray from Netflix and it booted up immediately. This is the first one I've rented in a while that actually works. I guess I'll hold off on sending in my system until the next time I get one that doesn't work, so I'll be free to play in the coming days. I can still play sometime tonight, if anyone wants to.
 
I got on, but Josh was already playing cpac. If any of my opponents get on (I'm the White Sox), hit me up. I may be in a game for the other league, though.
 
Good game Josh. Any news on what happens to the people who still haven't played? There are about 3-4 who haven't played 1 game yet.
 
Great game wildpac. Thought I might comeback. but once Mo comes in, I'm packing my bags.

Anyway, I think that there are some discrepencies in the standings on the front page so I'm trying to figure that out before anything else.
 
I played my game against Killsbury over a week ago. Im the Rays. He was the Brewers. If you look at my stats, they show up but the game never counted.

Can I get some credit for my James Shields CG Shut? Ive requested this be resolved twice already. Not sure if you have the ability or not.

Dahk, sent you a message on PSN about playing. Didn't get a response. You available? We've got a game both in this league and the fantasy league.

The standings in the game itself are wrong. The results on everyone's personal schedules are correct. The correct standings are on http://www.theshowcommunity.com/leagues/81100:
 
Josh, would you want to play later tonight? I won't be on till after the Kings playoff game, though. It should end between 9:45-10 P.M. Pacific time.

Oh, and as I told you before, the league motto is spelled wrong. It's "trophy", not "trophey". -P

I know but I can't change it. Curse my bad spelling. But yea I'll be on around then. We can do which ever league you want. Just send a challenge when you are ready.
 
I just played the best game ever with Josh. I loaded the bases with my first 3 hitters, but got no runs. He loaded them in the second; no runs. That set the tone for the game. We each got a good number of hits, and when we got out, we usually made contact.

He was up 1-0 for most of the game due to a Ryan Theriot knocking a changeup out of the park, but I tied it with a double in the 8th inning. I went through 5 different pitchers, with Bobby Jenks going 3 innings, but it was Scott Linebrink who picked up the win when I scored in the top of the 13th. What an epic game.

White Sox 2, Cubs 1 (13 innings)

Like I said in my message on PSN- awesome game, Josh! best I've played yet.

My avatar was rejected as being inappropriate as well, I wonder if we have to stick to just baseball themed avatars?
 
Can someone please explain the stolen base glitch? I was playing a kid online who just exploited it completely. I was holding the runner on and he was still getting great jumps and stealing bases as Pujols all of the time. This was 2nd and 3rd all game on fastball pitches. I disconnected because I wasn't going to give him the pleasure of beating me legit.

One of the guys in one of the two leagues (Droogs, I think) has a picture of a man who is presumably himself as his avatar. Maybe mine was just too sexy. The girl, not me. Obviously.
 
as to the avatars I had a Garbage pail kid rejected, a zombie baby rejected, But me in a devil mask was deemed ok go figure

I can probably play. I doubt I will be on the PS3. Pretty sure I'll either be watching something on the DVR, or playing Left 4 dead 2 on the Xbox. If I'm watching TV, I'll try to check on the score every once in a while to see when the game ends. If I'm on the Xbox, I may not be able to do so. But if you have XBL, you can send me a message at X Matt Young X. Either way, it would be nice to get a game in.

Yeah. The first inning started off fine and then right after delay, lag, traffic whatever bs. Status bar was yellow and red every now and then. Even when the status bar was green it was a complete mess. Pitching and hitting would laggggggggggg right when you are making the pitch. So you couldn't even get a good pin point. Fielder reaction lagged but not as much as pitching. I ended up quitting and taking the loss after 3 innings.

It felt like the game was being played on dialup at some points.
 
wildcpac, what settings did we play that game on last night? If you guessed the correct location it would put a red circle exactly where the pitch was going to end up? I had never played with that on before.
 
Yeah, I got 7-0 over some guy and in the 6th inning he tied it up because when I would go to pitch, it would lag and the ball would end up right in the middle of the zone. I thought he was lag switching to be honest, but it was so inconsistent that I figured it was just general laggyness. Thank god I ended up winning.

I put it at classic 1/4 by accident. I'll never do that again.

Yeah, everyone is on everyone else's schedule, but the only teams I am allowed to play right now in league games are the ones I listed.
 
Hey. just a heads up... in the process of moving this week so will be out of comish online for a few days. Shooting for internet by Friday... then again some people know how unpredictable time warner cable is.

Also, what were we deciding again on free agents? Im too lazy to try to check all the players I had dropped to aaa and off my roster completely as it will take a while... and would rather hear what has been determined first.

However! Who wants to play a game Friday or Saturday night to test out a new 15mbps connection? For the first time in 5 years actually not using shitty campus internet that drops all the time... i dont know how I will be able to contain my excitement.

DahkX, I hope you were pausing for legitimate reasons but I had to give you a forfeit in our game. You paused for probably 45 minutes. You paused the game longer than we played. You unpaused and then repaused after 1 pitch, and that's probably the 20th time you paused. So that did it for me. I was pitching a no hitter in the 5th with James Mcdonald too.

As I've said at least 4 times, you are not in my active schedule, so we cannot play a league game.
