CAG Name/Gamertag Origins

Simon D I

CAGiversary!
So...a lot of folks on here have some of the weirdest names I've ever heard in my entire life, and I'm sure other CAGs are wondering where those names came from.

So how did you come up with your CAG Name/Gamertag?

Kendal is my name from when I would play Quake. I am changing my XBL GT when I have an extra 800 points or someone threatens to rape me. My PSN name is from a cartoon that I used to watch and got canned leaving the series on a huge cliffhanger!

Name on cag from my first job. I was sent home for being a smartass all night long. Started out as send me home jason then went to send me home and now it is just send me. Name on live and other things (shazo) was yet again from work. Someone was giving me shit about my socks. It was late and all of us I dont think had much sleep. It started out as Jay shaz socks then became Jay Shaz and then just Shazo. What was with my socks I dont know and never will know.

SerenityKry

My family always told me the Serenity Prayer was made specifically for me... I was always trying to change the un-changable and then went on to being over dramatic about it.
So I took Serenity from it because it's just a beautiful word.

Kry... First three letters of my name. Krysten.

So! I mixed Serenity and Kry to create SerenityKry. Almost in meaning a cry for serenity.

Cheesy I know, but I likez it a lotz!

The GTO anime and manga. In hindsight, " ZerO" is a very stupid way to spell that. I thought GT0 wouldn't been stupider because of "leetspeak" connotations.

I used to be a craps dealer at a casino in Detroit (now I supervise), so my CAG user name is pretty self explanatory.

My PSN ID could be deemed as confusing.
I'm a huge Detroit Lions fan and their team colors at one point were silver and the one of a kind "Honolulu Blue". I realize that they suck and that they will never win a Super Bowl in my lifetime, so I'm used to booing them every Sunday for some boneheaded player that screwed up a big play. That is the originof my handle "HonoluluBoo".

I use to have a lot of difficulties coming up with an online name. Use to change my name often at forums (mostly just used game characters). Eventually I decided I really like Knight's, since that's my favorite character class in an RPG. I started out with Phantom Knight, but it was meh to me. I tried XenoKnight, which I liked, but the name never went well at forums. I decided to come up with something else, tried "The Mana Knight or Mana Knight" since I really like Secret of Mana and many RPGs I like contain Mana. So now I'm Mana Knight and I've stuck to it for a while.

I got the name Wow actually when Quake was out as well. I only played in LAN with friends then, and it was about the time AIM got popular in my area, so I got a very short AIM name with Wow in it. Also played War2 with it for a long time.

Then when Diablo came out, I was promoted a few times in the clan I was in until my title was "Lord Wow" and as the internet expanded, it became very difficult to keep the name Wow on any sites, so I used lordwow for everything instead.

I used to use Fu_Su_Lu83 (inspired from the original Suikoden), but remembering which sites allowed for underscores and which didn't became a real pain so I switched to gr8asianman (inspired by the flashiness of the Greay Saiyaman in DBZ, but tweaked for personal use).

Took Geo as thats what I used back on Diablo/Ultima Online, most sites don't like 3-character names so "georox" was adapted. Warked is my Gamertag/Website, originally was going to be an RPG site so took "Wark" from a chocobo and added the "ed" to it. Later I said fuck it on the RPG thing since I noticed just how bad/generic most of em are, but stuck with the name anyways since its uber-easy to type warked.com *shameless self-promotion*
