Just to let you guys know that there is a problem with the rankings. I won both of my games last night (Spurs) and I am showing a record of 0-2. Just wanted to let you guys know and wondering if anyone else is having this problem?
 
Nevermind people I'm out. Have fun...those rules are not basketball. Having played basketball in hs and in college. If you can't adjust to what the other players are doing you have no skill at all in this game.. believe it or not everything can be countered quite easily. I will take my warning and leave and play with people who actually can play the game instead of handicaping it out so they have a chance to compete. Flame on.. I've joined another more competetive league. Please give my spot to someone else.

hey, i'd still like to play you...hit me up this weekend and we can get a non-league game going...no rules...i can play that way too, but it just seems that leagues are better when there are rules
 
Major weak sauce. Guess stickywaffles has an in now. The only rule I don't care for is on-ball D, I prefer my zones and playing near the arc, but it's not a big deal. Nice to see the patience. I want this league to run, we've got some good teams.

is there a rule about headsets? That seems to be a point most leagues I"ve done have addressed, curious our take.
 
GojTron, What the hell? I go up by like 15 in the first few minutes, so I let you creep back in, then I go up again, and let you in, and you leave me a fuckin negative feedback? It's a league, you never leave negatives, not even neutrals. Was it because I put in Earl Boykins at the last 3 minutes and used him to score 6 points inside? Please enlighten me on your decision to leave "poor Sportsmanship" I followed all the league rules. Heck I only won by what 10? I could have gone up by a lot more but that's not how I wanted to end.

And thanks for tarnishing my near perfect feedback rating.
 
there is no rule about headsets, no...if you want to communicate with someone, just pause the game and send them a message...headsets are optional

and ALWAYS LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK IN THIS LEAGUE...if you have a problem, then talk to that person about it or come to me and talk to me about it, but no negative feedback! i can't edit the article of rules about this b/c the site is down (for me at least), but always leave positive (not neut, nor neg)
 
lol too much drama... no rules equals more fun...because people are sore sports when they lose (same reason why the guy lagged himself out on me regardless of what you say .a perfect connection does not just go to a screaching halt when you enter the 5th quarter.). Rules are going to be broken in the losers eyes everytime (everyone needs an excuse to why they can't play the game). Leaving bad feedback is just the beginning....people can't take losing and will start complaining soon that somebody broke the rules (because the rules nearly impossiable to enforce and can viewed differently by different players). Good luck. 45-6 :) now for me if anyone wants to play real basketball challenge me and my Mavs. I could really understand the need for rules if this was a broken game that had major exploits like madden or live. Everything can be countered you just have to adjust your play style. If I get bored I will list the exact d sets you switch to and how you play them to counteract any of these "rule violations".
 
Since XBL is down I can't login to the league. Anyone want to play a game or two tonight?

rules make it a more realistic experience...that's the only reason they are in place

but yea, this weekend sometime, let's get a game goin
 
fine, fine. i didn't know it was something to throw a fit over. I'm not allowed to voice my opinion that I wasn't a fan of your play? I thought that was the point of feedback. Yes, I felt insulted that when the game hit 3 minutes to go you started cheesing with Boykins. You could have been up by more? You let me back in? THAT is what's insulting.

it's a flexible schedule, so you are not required to play any one player at any one time (unless that is the last player you have to play to be done with all 24 games)

That's cool, I'm willing to give up even two players for him... or a better one though, it's not that he's great, he is pretty good, but he matches my style of play exactly... anyway yeah I'd be willing to trade whatever you want (pretty much) on my team

just go to "options" > "manage roster" > "create team", then put everyone on one team and just practice with them...that's what i did after i first drafted my team

ive only played once online and I couldnt hit a jump shot for shit. do i have to realease the ball earlier online?

And it looks like you can only do even trades, though. I'll look over my roster again and see how it looks and I'll get on the trade block there.

yeah, but just barely. That's why I love shooting with Shawn Marion or Adam Morrison. I just have to tap the button for a quick split second and its in.

wait...isn't morrison's shot a really long release? i can't tell if it's either really short or really long b/c he kinda pulls it behind his head...someone told me it was long, and at first i thoguht it was short...which???
 
morrisons is hella long, when I first played with him sometimes I didn't even let go of x since i couldnt tell when it was going to be released. I got marion, I had him out most of the game because his shot was too quick all of his air balls weren't helping me. Hopefully I can get some practice in before the next game.

marion is the matrix

yea, i think marion's shot is the best animated...even his free throws are all weird looking...i got marion's free throw down pat and am decent with his jump shot...i can't get morrison's down though...and lebron's is kinda weird too but easier than morrisons by a mile

Mike James' shot looks a little weird as well..

Have you created a player and seen some of the shots they have on there?

Morrison's is hard in regular offline games for me because I tend to hold it too long or too short, but when I play online if I hold it too short it's just right because of the lag. His free throws are pretty easy to hit as well.

With Marion's free throws, he does this like almost pump fake kind of thing where he lets it go down twice then throws it up, if you can somehow understand that. When the ball's at the bottom of the second one is when I release and I can usually put it in.

His D is underrated, it's more of him not wanting to play D, he locked down Brandon Roy during Open Run 05'.

Yeah, he's a darn good player, still can't believe they lost the game against UCLA... lost me my bracket pool... he was basically the team by the end of that game

If anyone needs a good three point shooting PF and wants to give up a PG, SG, or C, please send an offer bc my team just hit about 1/16 on 3's and I need those 3 positions, I will accept trades for worse players... I am desperate
 
I don't know either. There's something wrong with the league's win-loss records. I lost my first game but got a win and vice versa for tonight. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed without resetting records or starting a new league (again!).
