Yo i used to play smash bros. melee, and I don't even know if you can call Naruto Generations a "fighting game".

Better to call a good fighting game worthwhile than to pretend a bad fighting game series is worth anyone's time. Having the word "king" in the title would probably trick at least one person.

Should be getting Street Fighter X Tekken tomorrow or Thursday. I was hoping to get it today but no..... I really hate the gay shipping some sites use lately where it starts out as ups and switches over to usps. It just makes it that much slower instead of picking one shipping service and being done with it.

So distgfx if you hate kofxiii so much why don't you sale it. ;)

I know Paco wouldn't consider smash a fighter at all. I wasn't never a big fan of Smash but I would play them. Speaking of Wii... I wish TVC would come to PS3 but that won't happen. I would buy it again at retail.

Speaking of which I should finally get it tomorrow or Thursday. I assume tomorrow based on the tracking but it really could be either day. I had the money for it and should have pre-ordered it. If I didn't at least rent it and play it already I couldn't take it by now. I would have bought it a long time ago. Because I would have been DYING TO PLAY IT! DYING! I'm shocked I was able to skip Soul Calibur 5 and the newest blazblue.

I liked what I played of SC5 but nothing makes me want to buy it unless its cheap. I never played SC4 much and had it since release. If I was dying to play SC I would fire that up.
 
gg's Option IV. I thought UMVC3 was where I got my ass handed to me the most but I stand corrected. I'm glad I don't take fighting games to serious or I would never play you again.:rofl:
 
Far as the exclusive characters goes. I thought Cole and Pac-Man was decent. The rest of them suck but I do give credit for Capcom adding Mega-Man. Its the best trolling ever.

Your not alone. It either plays like complete ass or its just somewhat wonky. Only games I thought was awesome is the full bar games I got. One away isn't to bad but below that it plays like ass.

Honestly I wish they just stuck to whatever type of netcode they used before. I know most won't agree but I would have been happy with the same netcode as umvc3.

I know MVC2 used rollback netcode and it had good online. I assume its netcode was still different from Street Fighter X Tekken and it isn't the exact same rollback netcode.

Patch for the netcode/sound issue would be nice. I hope Capcom figures out that sound issue because to be honest it drives me bat shit crazy. :lol:
 
Majority of my games online with SFxT have been great, but ive got my ps3 wired + dmz'd at the router for max freshness. If you are using wireless it will ALWAYS suck.

I always use wired and I don't use a router no more either. I plug it directly into the modem. Nat 1 FTW!

360 version of SC5 is 30 at TRU but after shipping/tax it isn't that great of a deal. I noticed Best buy is going to have it again for 39.99

Maybe it will pop up used on Amazon for around 30 again. 40 is just kind of tempting but for 30 I would buy it. I don't want it on 360 or I would buy it from TRU. If TRU offered the PS3 version I would go ahead and buy it.

Finally, those 12 characters coming to consoles after the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken launches are priced as a set at 1600 MS Points ($20). It'll be available later this year.


I'm sure most of you guys already read it. I was reading about costumes coming as dlc and noticed this was mentioned as well.

I won 10 ranked matches legit in KOFXIII. I'm so proud of myself since all the mexicans know what there doing and I'm a scrub. I got lucky and kept playing one guy that wasn't great. :rofl:
 
I got a 8-way restrictor plate just recently but been so damn busy, i havent been able to install it. Going to take apart my original TE tonight to clean the buttons (really dirty from sitting so much), install the 8-way and change out the bezel on it so i know which one is the dual modded TE. Ill likely try out KOF13 first after due to hearing how much a 8-way helps that game.
 
Enough though I don't care a whole lot for Blazblue I bought the newest one since it popped up cheap on Amazon. Its 35.99 for the LE. I also got that 10 dollar amazon card for 5 bucks so its like I paid 31.99 for it. There used on Amazon's Warehouse and there is still a few left. I bought one in Acceptable condition. There is some like new if someone wants to spend 44.99 on it...

I was bidding on a cheap Soul Calibur 5 on ebay. I won it for 26 bucks total. Also got the newest Blazblue LE for 31.99 total. I didn't really need them but I got caught up on the fighters I didn't have.

I wish Blazblue Continuum Shift wasn't completely worthless. If I trade it in at a new place in town I can get 10 bucks which doesn't sound that appealing but I don't need it after I get the new one.

Actually the Japs play both GaysBluejob and King of Fighters. The difference is they love the poorly animated bouncing boobs of Itchi and the cat dressed person with panties. KOF is played world wide by not only Mexicans, but Koreans, Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese and the middle east.
 
I got SC5 today that I bought off ebay for 26 bucks. It was mint and complete. It even came with a unused code for Dampierre. I was really pleased with that since I wasn't expecting it to come with the code.

Based on the tracking I'll have Blazblue tomorrow.

Your game is just a step up above generic doujin fighters. Hell that Persona 4 fighter looks more interesting then Blazblue.
 
I am part of the crowd that hated blazblue once i got more into it. Was gonna buy Extend but decided not to, was gonna get it for completeness sake, but there might be another Blazblue again for 40 bucks and like the survival commercial says, i cant take that risk.

I got my LE today from Amazon. The artbook,soundtrack and calendar looked brand new. The game its self was still sealed and wasn't even open. It wasn't resealed either. Only thing in bad shape was the box.

I fired up the game and it felt like I was playing the same old game. I'm sure I can't name all the content but there was 1 new character which isn't enough but I knew that before hand. There is some new game modes I doubt I'll play. Of course there is balanced fixes. There is 4 new story scenarios which is useless to me. I noticed there is some extra stages not sure how many but I noticed a new one.

Good pickup. I was thinking about picking the game up from GameStop for their upcoming sale at 39.99 but I'm going to wait and see if I can get it cheaper.
