CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

Definitely some great games tonight everyone! Like Allah said there were some ridiculously close games and some great comebacks in the last 60-75 seconds of some rounds. Good job!

Highlight of the Night - DD83 kills me during a CTF on Puncture and proceeds to teabag me..... and then Metaly runs up behind him as he's squatting and smashes his head in with an ostrich.

Lowlight of the Night - A lot of people were teabagging......... including myself........ wth???? :shame:

P.S. Goat cheese pizza for everyone that shows up on Thursday.

I'll probably be looking to play pubs (those 250 play/win trophies are annoying me :lol:) in this game in the coming weeks, if anyone wants to make plans to play just pubs (so gotta keep it around 5-6 people) let me know. :)

The socom community is full of great people, well at least the cag portion is (metaly, xxx, even randy can back me up on this), and those are the people you will mainly deal with. Its only 15 bucks used from gamestop.

I played wrecking crew once, and that was enough, it bored me to tears.
 
After the first half hour or so, Wrecking Crew turns into sort of a zen experience. :drool:

I will never platinum mainly because I'm not playing through the whole single player again to get every mission, since the last 2 or 3 would never show up no matter what I did.

Also since people enjoy youtube videos here, I have to say this is amazing, and the show itself is just as good.

I initially thought you (or someone you know) custom made your avatar, randy, but then I've seen people with similar avatars on other forums and figured it was some web app or something. :/

I'm actually a big fan of iced tea, now that you mention it. It's my non-alcoholic beverage of choice in restaurants. Unsweetened, preferably.

And coffee makes life possible for me. I don't need anti-depressants, I just need Starbucks.

Great games. There were a lot of really close ones. And I can't believe that Randy collapsed the bridge I was standing on twice (then Mr. B sort of did it again during that Demolition round when he destroyed the pipes going across whatever that map was).

I'm wondering if maybe we could track down another group of RFG die-hards, perhaps on another gaming community site, and challenge them to some occasional matches. The likelihood of us finding unscheduled competitors out in the ether is becoming slimmer and slimmer.

I have become intrigued, not a huge Arcade Fire fan, but as an owner of every interpol album I will go look it up.
 
I'm a huge Interpol fan. Weird that I never made that connection when listening to Fanfarlo. I'll have to keep that in mind next time I listen to the disc.
 
Side note (yeah... like anythings a side note in here)...
ODST as a single player/Coop campaign is worth about $15-20... if that. :lol:

Also... to you know who you are (I was trying to save keystrokes, but I think it would've been easier to just type it all out... and with that it definitely would've been... :/)
are we done with Left 4 Dead? I'm thinking of selling it if we are.
