CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

You guys should have seen what it looked like the first time. I don't think I've seen a map from that high up before, except on something like Wreckage.

I think the building toss thing was the best moment, though. Building Tossing should be an event in the Martian Olympics.

We should definitely get together tonight, at least long enough to attempt to win that Volition Twitter contest. We deserve prizes for our RFG devotion!

We need to beat this guy to take the lead, which shouldn't be too hard. He got 18 kills on Siege/Gauntlet for a total of 1720xp.
 
I'm at my CT store all day and then I'm meeting up with some friends for dinner. I should be able to hop on RFG at 9:30pm EST or so...does that work for you guys?

Both DD and Flik have 1800+ scores. DD actually beat Flik by 10 (or 2?) points. :lol:

The total/bonus XP columns on my leaderboards have been broken for months, but it's clear the round totals are from this weekend. Also hahaha @ xxx's average 810 XP per game.
 
I'm a frickin pro. Played a little more earlier and these noobs I was playing with were bringing my avg down cuz I was getting no help.\


But, I am over 40000 total, need to hit 100000 on Monday.

Sorry, I'm at my in-laws and the Internet crapped out right when I joined. Oh well.

flik, did you check out the picture metaly posted? It shows me and you getting over 1800.

Not sure if those are eligible for the contest though.

I will be around tonight to host RFG and if we have a low turnout we can just do pubs or get some hidden challenges done for people or whatever, we'll play it by ear.

I won't be around for Thursday either (figured as much for most everyone here though).
 
No, I haven't sent that picture in... I don't know that I will. I saw they wanted people to follow them before they'd send codes and whatnot and I'm not into following "not-people"... err... non-personal accounts or whatever you'd call them. :/
 
i may not be there. PSN is telling me my account has been suspended... WTF?!! On hold right now trying to figure this crap out...

my guess is that they updated their censored words and my online ID was hit. kinda stupid. XBL just tells you to type in a new one on the spot..

either that or a bunch of people ive beaten the crap out of online reported me out of spite. wankers.

oh and PS support was useless as always. They couldn't tell me why I was banned. Instead of a person knowing, only an automated system knows.....WTF is that garbage..............................

Great games this weekend, everyone. Congrats to all who got their ostriches/challenges/etc., and especially to xxx for his freakish 65k XP or whatever it came out to. I kept a personal tally and only made about 42k. :hot:

Sometime we should get a group lineup photo with everyone brandishing their birds, maybe once freaky gets back.
 
DD and I were just talking about getting a group photo the other night. Let's do it!

Yay for group photo... nay for making it be hammer only. It should be whatever weapon we want... It'd be cool if we had one where everyone was using a different weapon. :lol: And maybe no duplicate skins... :/ The only bad thing is there'd have to be a camera person, as you can't spin the camera around like GTA. :/

Easy enough solution to the camera person issue.

Get everyone lined up for the photo and have two people designated as camera person. Their positions can be on opposite ends of the group. We'll take two pictures and then, using a paperclip, photoshop one of the missing picture takers into the final shot.

I just picked up RFG with the Best Buy coupon. I guess it's safe to assume that this game still has an active multiplayer community?
 
For the most part...
If you play with us we usually have 8-10 people each game night.
When we get to 4-6 (usually after midnight Eastern) we'll try to join pub games, some times it's easy to find one, sometimes impossible.

I have make vegan muffins, cookies, and a coffee cake for my family's shindig but I should be available after 9pm EST or so.

I'd be up for some MW2 before/after, though. Also, here's a pretty cool thing: Copy this GameFAQs save file (the one that says "split screen only") to your PS3 and load it up in split screen mode. You'll get an error, but just enter split screen mode again and you'll have a profile with all the multiplayer unlocks so you can try out all the weapons/attachments/perks.

Randy, here's the loadout I was suggesting:

Primary: MP5K akimbo
Secondary: .44 Magnum akimbo
Perks: Marathon, Stopping Power, Steady Aim

Then sprint around everywhere shooting like a maniac!

Also I tried some Perfect Dark Zero multiplayer last night and damn. :whistle2:#
 
I'm glad I didn't buy BF2 now... since you guys can't figure out which one you want to play.

Wait... You mean you got a game in PDZ? When I tried before I couldn't. :lol:

Curious. I'm a baker by trade and it is also a hobby.

Do you just increase the leavening agents in your muffins to compensate the lack of eggs? Do you use some sort of vegan egg substitute in your products? What about fats, do you just use 100% veg shortening? Mind passing some recipes on to me?

New plan, going to go see Avatar (in 3D!) so I won't be around for BF/MW2 unless you guys want to play a little earlier, like in 2-3 hours. Have to go do some furious last minute errands now.
