Guess I'll go back to White Knight when RF:G breaks up. The game is nicely scratching that JRPG itch I get every few years.
 
Oh I just found this Forum. I am totally down for playing some RFG tonite, I thought the online was dead. I bought the bagman dlc but thought it was a barren wasteland and never played any of the maps. Velo214 on PSN. ThanX!
 
Sorry, DD. It sucks when a game you're looking forward to basically self-destructs in front of everyone.

At least there were some great, close RFG games, though. Good to see you, Velo. Also AndrewsAwesome, sorry I didn't notice your invite until it was late, but we'll see you on Monday hopefully. We're going to need a bigger room soon!

A mindless frag fest would have been a lot more fun.:twoguns:At lest the grab kill animations where cool, but sadly those where the highlight of the demo. Really wish they included some different modes.
 
Mindless frag fest isn't the right wording unless you're talking about the Marine.

I've also read the demo is the same as the E3 demo from last year, so meh.
 
If the AvP demo is from e3 '09 they better release an updated one before launch. A buggy demo like that is going to hurt them more then help. I really hope it looks much better when it comes out.

Anyway good games last night. We need to take stock of the game modes we play on what maps so we can switch it up more.
 
To break in my fancy new monitor, I played some Mass Effect 1, I can see why people enjoy this game. Once I gave up trying to beat the stupid underground venus fly trap, I had real fun playing. Too bad I just got smoked literally 1 second after a cut scene, and it made me go back 20 minutes (of Mako driving, which is horrrrrible). I'll have to see what difficulty its set on, and make the game easier :lol:.
 
Nice, Mr. B. That sucks about the repeated Mako driving. The game feels kind of old school in that it doesn't autosave constantly, but after having to replay enough parts I learned to just manually save all the time. I'm sure you will too. ;)

Yeah the game is absolutely fantastic! It is too bad (not really) that Bioware completely redesigned Mass Effect 2!

To be fair, this is only the fourth (I think) time we've had this much snow since they've kept track. Last time was '93, so its not that bad often for me.

I was living in Delaware for that and 1 or 2 other big snow and/or ice storms. At lest that area is somewhat flat so driving is easier roads have been plowed or hoping you can stop as you slide down one.

Most of the time we just get a light drizzle, last few days we've had more sun than rain.

That's the other thing that makes winter bearable in my area... It isn't flat... OH god no, it's hillier than.... something really hilly. :lol: But we do have a pretty awesome DOT team. Saturday night the main roads were dry, though backroads were shit and full of downed trees. :lol:

I was actually going to go to the Flyers game that day to see Wayne Gretzky and the LA Kings, but the snow kept us from getting up there.

I will probably make a unusual Monday appearance, unless I get caught up playing WKC, which people need to get so I we can play online.
