Gladiators V: Werewolves... Did I miss Gladiators I-IV?

I almost forgot... I was thinking about the possibility of multiplayer in JC2. They probably didn't add it for the same reason there isn't mid-game joining in RFG. Though they could've done it like Crackdown, where you just show up in someone else's world while still being in your own world, in terms of collectibles I mean. So that if I had a base 100% but someone who I was playing with had it at 0% and we decided to attack the base I'd have nothing to do but shoot bad guys... which would be kinda weird but could work I suppose. :/

Game Night bump! Feeling refreshed and ready for some RFG goodness. I'll probably be playing some BC2 or maybe WKC before start time though (Unless I fall asleep! Afternoon naps are great!)

Just realized, this thread has been on the front page of the PS3 forum for how long? Isn't time we just got a stickied?

I won't be there tonight, I will be at a bar drinking and watching the first every Philadelphia Union game with some of these guys.

Also every one of you that own a wii have better bought Cave Story already, if not go buy it the second you read this. Otherwise I will call you a cold hearted bastard for the rest of your life.

If you don't have a wii your are exempt, at least you have played it. If you don't own a wii there the game is freeware on pc.

The wii version has updated graphics, plus the game controls beautifully with a classic controller, haven't tried just wiimote but you can play that way.
 
Why would I want updated graphics when they were perfect to begin with and I can play with a controller on my PC... I see no reason to buy it to play again.
 
Just a heads up to anyone playing JC2, if you ever get the bug where your sound goes away, hud disappears, and right stick stops responding. All you need to do is reset the settings.

Oh, I've been 100% bases/towns/(BUT NOT airstrips!! :lol:) around the starting area mainly. I did see the zeppelins today right before RFG though. :whee:

Almost forgot... I felt sorry for the guy that got stuck on a team by himself because we all left... if he got stuck by himself that is...

So, I guess the game is marking them as private be default?.... I had figured you had set yours that way on purpose, but this makes much more sense.

Yep. Most likely so you have a chance to make sure it captured what you wanted it to capture and edit the title and stuff before people see it.
 
Alright chaps, I only have 1 PS3 game anymore (demon's souls) and I'd thought I wouldu get Red Faction back for my 360 (which I've beat). But it seems like the RF night is still strong, amirite?

how is the RF online community outside of game nights? people still hitting shit with hammers on a regular basis?
 
Randy do you still have Pure? Its 15 bucks new at gamestop, while its not my usual type of racing game, I need a racing game fix. I looked at NFS: Shift but its still a 60 dollar game and I didn't like the demo enough to pay full price.

We're still playing at least once a week. This week was sort of an exception because most of us literally all of us had other plans. Also Just Cause 2 came out.

The public community is pretty dead unless you want to play some regular deathmatch, though.
 
Did you guys see that buy.com was only charging $9.99 for the GTA Episodes for about 5 minutes? I didn't make it in under the gun, unfortunately.

Yup. I love that game so I've never traded it out. I was actually thinking about snagging a $15 copy for my brother, too. I'd run some races with you! It's a lot of fun.

By the way, people who ordered the $5 dollar version are starting to receive their copies. Hopefully by Monday there will be plenty of pub games to enjoy

Because usually I prefer sim style racing games, and Pure is 15 bucks while Blur will be 60.

You can turn off auto renew under "Manage Prime Subscription" or something similar on the main account page.

As long as you're getting into fighting games, you should pick up Soulcalibur IV so you can play it with me and also be ostracized by the fighting game community when they find out you play Soulcalibur.
 
LOL, that 'Anarchy: Rush Hour' game that came out this week in the PS Store is awful! :lol:

The cars handle like crap.
Story is piss poor.
Graphics are terrible... Yet there is some fun to be had with floaty car physics!
The cars are so light, that every time you enter a race, you are bound to fly all over the track with traffic jams all over, and everyone racing at 400+ km/h. It's not just you flying all over, the AI is flying and bumping as well. Sometimes, you'll fly entire blocks with these floaty physics due to the collisions from AI and oncoming traffic, and it becomes frustrating to finish these races due to not staying on the track. It becomes a regular thing, and you'll probably end up laughing from all the flying you'll do.

I can go on and on, but whatever you do... avoid this game. :lol:
 
Are we dropping RFG to just Thursdays or are some folks still interested in playing twice a week? Wondering if I should change the thread title.

I'd like to play BFBC2 again on Monday night...anyone else up for it?
 
Holy shit, BBC2 singleplayer sucks more ass than I thought possible. I loved the first one, but this is like some bad "direct to tape" sequel.

I've heard people mention games (a lot of CoD games) that have tacked on singleplayer to a mainly multiplayer game, luckily I managed to avoid those until now.

I'm so glad I didn't pay retail for this.

Thursdays only works for me, two days a week was a great run while it lasted!

However if we get 4-6 people that want to play RFG on Monday to do pubs, that would be pretty radical too.
