CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

Have any of you guys picked up that new avatar poker game on XBL? It's supposed to be pretty fun and I think it would be really cool if we had an RFG poker night!

But yes, you should join in when metaly and I play RB3, you can hear me curse whenever I miss a single note perfectly clear through your headset.

I fired up CellFactor and couldn't find a match (imagine that). Then I fired up Modern Combat and there was a patch (good, right?), then I had a hard freeze during the one match I tried to play in. Then I fired up Black Ops and came in first on my team, even though I hadn't played in months. It was a weird 30 minutes of shooteriness.

Thanks for the RB3 online info; I may try to join in next time you guys play.

Don't know if I'm available Saturday night, but if so, I'd give SARPBC a whirl.

I don't have that poker game, but I'd consider buying maybe (moreso when there's a sale).
 
I guess my litany of choices must have flummoxed everyone.....

...had a great time playing YDKJ with Randy though.

lol... I checked a bit after 10 and no one was in anything.
Checked a bit later and I think zen was playing killzone 3 and that was it, just went to sleep after that.
Kinda sucked cause I could actually play last night.

Warhawk 2? DD get our GGL team up and running!

Take this with a pinch of salt but Saudi website NC4A are reporting that Warhawk 2 is in development and will release in 2012 on Playstation 3.
We all know that Dylan Jobe is up to something at Lightbox, widely believed to be Starhawk, and now NC4A has it that the game is actually Warhawk 2 and that it has been shown to press in the U.S behind closed doors.
The first game details are as follows:

  • It will include a story mode this time.
  • It will support four player co-op.
  • It will support up to 32 players online.
  • It will include 25 multiplayer maps.
  • Camera angles, visuals and the combat system have been improved significantly from the first game.
We’re not sure if this is legit, but either way you can expect Jobe and Lightbox to lift the lid on their new game pretty soon.

Renegade Ops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a new shooter from the creators of Just Cause 2, coming to PSN later this year. There's no mention of grappling hooks or parachutes, but it does have four player online co-op, so I'm hoping this is them getting some practice for adding online modes to Just Cause 3.

Their senior producer says: "The IP is all about driving or flying around blowing stuff up while playing with your friends." Sounds like a solid premise.

Renegade Ops looks like it could be some fun coop destruction and that is enough for me to be interested.

Are we playing anything tonight? Some Red Faction might be good.

Did anyone else pick up a 3DS yet?

I took advantage of the TRU BOGO deal yesterday and grabbed Street Fighter. I wanna try it out with someone who will take it somewhat easy on me. ;)

Yeah, I'm not even a tiny bit excited about it but I need a 4th title to round out the BOGO deal. I figured I'd poke at a bit, check out how the 3DS handles online play, and then sell it on Craigslist.

You need to quit Chrome so it can update itself.

I'm playing SOCOM because MisterB was, but I couldn't join his game anyway. Somebody play something and invite me... Nevermind, gonna watch tv, but might check if anybody is playing anything after that.

I have the game, just not at this very moment. ;)
BTW, EA is doing that Project 10 Dollar thing with the game, so if the code in the box is redeemed or whatever, you'll need to pay to access online racing. :/

Something to think about...
