I know people that have boosted a game called SingStar and to get 1,000 ratings they each generated 100-200 accounts. Some only had one console. One of the bigger reasons I prefer longterm is it is a hassle each time to find a group to share something. The rest has been a breeze until my most recent share had some crazy drama in it. When everyone confirms they have the account registered on their console properly, then and only then will I add the game to it. A PSN account isn't activated on a console until content from that account is downloaded to the console, so I'm not sure this plan would necessarily achieve what you're trying to do. Someone could still create an account on a 6th PS3 and activate it before the first 5 have activated, couldn't they?

I see that some people are still interested in shares in long term group, and we still have one spot available in my Strategy games long term share group. The other 3 members are friends of mine so I know this group will be successful but we've been looking for a 5th member for a little while now.

I am only looking for serious individuals that are interested in this genre and could commit to a long term group (ie: don't drop off offline in 2 months never to be seen again).

What are you getting out of this? Not only are you getting those games at a huge discount (80% discount since we share the price 5 ways, so a 10$ game is only 2$ for each member) but you are also getting friends to play said games with. (well at least for the online enabled ones )

Question: If I delete a shared game from my main account, can I re-download it from the same account, or do I have to log into the shared profile to re-download it?
Even at 120gb, it's becoming hard to fit all these shared games.

You have to be logged-in on the share account to download the shared game. You can't download the shared game from your main account.

Changed my mind on the x-men share. Played the Demo on XBLA and it's very unimpressive. Not even nostalgia can save those graphics.

Long-Term Gameshare Group - 2 Slots Left!
I am forming a long-term PSN gameshare group for future PSN game releases only. We will be buying new PSN titles, as well as DLC for those titles. We will NOT be buying any PSN title released before Pac-Man CE DX, X-Men Arcade, and Marvel Pinball (our first titles to start things off) or PS One classics.
We will decide to buy new titles as follows:
If a title is released and receives a Metacritic score of 80 or above (we could adjust this to 75), it is an automatic buy (unless 3/5 of the group doesn't want it for some reason). If a game receives a worse meta-score than 80, it may still be purchased if the majority of the group wants it, and the game receives at least a 3/5 vote to purchase it. Any new title can be brought forth by a member to be voted on. DLC for any title we purchase must be voted on, regardless of the score it receives (if it even receives one) in order to be purchased.
I am looking for dedicated individuals for this group, who are planning to remain active in it for the long haul. Please do not ask to join if you don't think you will be able to come up with the money when it is time to contribute; this is what brought down the last long-term group I hosted. Please plan on spending on average 10.00 per month. Some months will be cheaper, and others possibly more expensive. Interested parties must remain active on CAG and be willing to vote on games every week.
Games We are Starting Out With:
I would like to start the group out with the following new releases:
To begin with, each member will need to contribute either 10 or 20 dollars (PSN card deposited into the account preferred) and we will make another contribution when the funds run dry. I think 20.00 at once would be the better option, as we wouldn't have to deposit money as often. After the account is financed, we will list the games that have been released since our starter titles, and vote whether to get any of them.

An account is activated when you download a free Demo (such as the one you will later buy the unlock code for), a random free theme, free LBP costume, etc. So yeah, everyone would need to download the demo to activate the share. Thanks for pointing that out!

Sticky situation, they will transfer over but will not work because those accounts will have not been activated on the new PS3. What you'll have to do before (or after? I'd recommend before) the transfer is log into each shared account and deactivate them on your first PS3. Then after the transfer log into each of those accounts on the new PS3 and activate em.
