I'm growing increasingly untrusting of CAG's. Just had someone tell me that an account which should have 2 open shares has been activated on 5 PS3's.
Sorry this happened to you, whoever did that is a real shit. =\

Wow.. and I just want to start out and try this thing out... it does seem kind of dangerous still, what if you gave money to someone that refuse to give you the account info after you paid? >_>;

True, it might seem like a gamble, but if you find the right people, it completely is worth it.

You may want to start doing business only with people who have a good reputation or have already traded smoothly. You can ask around and see who's trusted by others here.

The other option is for you yourself to host the account then give the info to others, that way you're 100% to have your stuff.

Just experiment and try it out, and if you want to keep it safe, keep a list on a Word document or something of people you have traded with in the past, so you know you can trust them in the future.

Hope that gives you a lil' bit of courage to jump in :p

if gameshare feedback isn't allowed, perhaps we can leave feedback on the comment section of our profiles..
pretty sure the comment section is able to be visable to all. just a thought.
as for my experience here, i've bought many shares and was never once screwed over, there's a vast majority of great guys here. i'd be happy to list them.

Well I think the group at Cheapassgamer is by far better then RFD. I never even bothered figuring out how to navigate that place.. I guess trading with people who has a good rep would be the best way to go for now.

@Junno
Ya I think it'll be great if I got into doing game share, Yesterday I was still juggling the idea whether to buy the limited edition of Record of Agarest War for ~80 dollars.. then finding out I can just download it and sharing the price with others for 10 dollars for the ps3... >_>;; it doesn't seem like a hard choice if i can get a group or something together...

Still looking for one more person to join our longterm ssf4 alternate costume group. All the info is on the post I made a few pages back.

If you are really worried about trusting people there are a few things that you can do to help protect yourself. Ive successfully shared here for over a year without a problem (not to say they don't happen). First thing, only trade with trusted CAGs. Chances are if someone has been part of the community for years and has over 100 posts, then they are not likely to ruin the credibility of their account for a few dollars. The other thing is ask for a reference. Most people have shared before through CAG so ask them for a reference or go through old posts and see how their last transaction went. I don't know if the old thread is accessible but you will find all the old scammers being complained about there. Lastly, try to get a long term group that way after the first trade you already know that you can trust the people.

Anyone interested in a God of War 1 and 2 gameshare? They are being released individually on 11/2 on the PSN. I don't think they have announced a price yet but I would assume they will be priced at $20 a piece which makes it $8 a share (2 games at $4 a piece). Is someone willing to host a gameshare of this.

I'm hoping they will be a bit cheaper since the disc version is $30, but I'm in for that and will host it.

Looking to buy a share of Ps1-Resident Evil DIRECTOR'S CUT if anyone has one.

It's on sale for $4.99 if someone wants to get a group going for that and possibly the other Resident Evil PS1 games I'd gladly join.

I am also looking for a share of Lumines.
Anyone got a disgaea 3 gameshare or is interested in making one?
Assuming you're getting the US Dlc. If they're working with the UK version of the game, I would like to join.

So does anyone know if the US DLC of Disgaea 3 works with the UK version of the game?

Thanks!!

I'm not sure but I don't think EU DLC is compatible with US, you'd have to confirm that though.

I was trying to get a Disgaea gshare going on gametz, but forums are slow and unsure if anyone seems interested. I can act as a hoster, but b/c I'm relatively new here on CAG, I don't think people would trust me enough which is justified and the reason why I'm seeing if any veteran is willing

I'd also be in for that.

The game is ancient by now but is there any interest in a group for all five Fallout 3 add-ons? I don't own F3 but I'm enjoying New Vegas and thinking ahead. I've read the GOTY edition is unplayable on PS3 so I would rather download the DLC into the regular edition.

I may be down for 2 shares of this. My brother-in-law and I just bought the PS3 collector's edition from Sears and may start playing this soon. Also, let me know if you want a copy of FO3...since I already owned a copy before I bought the collector's edition so I could sell you the new one.

HAVE:
Tiger PGA 11 courses DLC - $8/share
Uno/Critter Crunch/Zen Pinball - $3/share

WANT:
Star Wars Force Unleashed DLC
MLB 10 Classic Stadiums DLC
Stardust HD

I'd be fine hosting as long as there's more than you and I interested in this. I posted about a Disgaea gameshare months ago, never saw a response.

I may be interested in this as well. I never did get the rest of the DLC packs and I did want to check out all of these expansions.

Count me in!

I used to own it on 360 but traded it in because I got sick of the 360 overall.

Was planning on buying the normal Fallout 3 edition, so I'll get the DLC too.

I heard that you can just get the GOTY edition for FO3 and just get the DLC off the disc and return it or so. Though yea you wouldn't be able to share it of course with fellow members if done so

Hmmm I'll have to try this out next time I head to GS LOL

You mean like between US and Canada versions? I think all DLC is region locked but like North America vs Japan vs EU.

I do want a copy, but I'm seeing some on Kijiji for $15-20 so I think shipping to Canada would kill the deal. Edit: I just found out it's $20 new at Best Buy.

So is anyone up for hosting this proposed Fallout 3 group?

Have a game share up for Scott Pilgrim, 2/5 spots left @ $2.

Also starting a share for God of War I & II when they come out. So far I have...

1. kataztrophik
2. finsfan0210
3. -
4. -

It's the HD versions from GOW collection right? Any idea on pricing of ea? GOW collections only about $20 on gamefly now so it might be a better alternative to save some space

I know you can do that with the 360 version, but I don't think you can do it with the ps3 version.

Yea you're right, I did a little research, GOTY edition for Ps3 is one disk (Darn Blu-ray) But it's super buggy on Fat Ps3s, less so on slims apparently

not sure about canada but def between US/EU

as long as those letters on the top of your fo3 disc match up they will be compatible.. North America is ' BLUS '
the letters are located directly above( DOLBY )

Okay. Yeah, I believe most if not all DLC is region locked that way. I just wanted to make sure you weren't talking about some unusual US/Canada issue.
