I'm having a really weird issue trying to long into an IRL friend's account. When I sign into PSN, it accepts his email and password, but the username that shows up has an extra zero. His purchase history isn't showing up, and his message history isn't showing up either (I recently sent him a friend request from my own account, so he should at least have that request in his inbox right?)?

I'm guessing that this missing info could be related to the username glitch? Maybe because I had a pending friend request for that username, that caused a glitch when I tried to log in with the same name?

Your friend request message won't show up if he logged in between the time you sent the invite and you logged in. Messages are downloaded to the console the next time you log in, so they are then tied to that system and you won't see them if you log in on another system.

I haven't heard of any username glitches, I'm not really sure what's going on. The servers are pretty slow right now with the PS Store having a decent sale and everybody downloading, so I don't know if that's affecting anything?

He used the website to change his password so I could log in. And I just did a gameshare download via this thread a few minutes ago without any issue. Strange. :whistle2:(

Meanwhile I'll pimp this gameshare group request. We just need one more for Pac-Man CE DX and Super Stardust HD!

Yeah I'm not sure. I know there shouldn't be any issues with sending someone a friend request and then logging in as that person on the same console as I've done it between my alt accounts before. My recommendation is to give it a day and see if the same issue arises tomorrow. Did something happen to the account that may have affected its online capabilities? Possibly someone hacked into the account and it had to be restored or a policy violation that resulted in a suspension/ban?

My friend says he's going to host the share. Didn't get the chance to ask him for his paypal info, will come back and update you guys tomorrow.

I am sorry to say that the signature edition may not work with US accounts (seems to be a conflict) so i have to take this offer down.

We, however, will game share any GT5 DLC.
