You can use PSN credit and get the 3 month bonus as well, that's how I got mine.

i wanna gameshare, and am willing to be host. I have psn+, so when I create a new account, psn+ is active on my ps3, but does it work on another ps3 as well

Sittinghawk3, were you referring to dead nation? If so, it'd be awesome if you could host, but I'm not sure how psn+ works for this type of thing. The difference between normal and ps+ per person is 60 cents btw.

i was thinking of that in general, im trying to get other games too but i think i would do your dead nation group. how much does it work out to again?

Does it work that way? I thought you HAVE to have PSN+ on the account that you're buying with to get the discount. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Dead Nation is $15 bucks originally.

30% off = $10.5/5 = $2.10 per share

50% off (PS+)= $7.5/5= $1.50 per share

Now my question, since I have never made a purchase via PSN, are payments based on pre-implemented amounts (like xbox live) or based on each payment (aka get charged for each purchase)?
 
I think you guys are confused. You can only purchase at the PS+ price on the PS+ account. That means you'll have to purchase a share of PS+ as well.

i created a dummy acc to set up eventual gameshare. when i signed in with the new acc on the same ps3 that I have a psn+ account on, I could dl all the free stuff available. However, I am unsure if this perk will apply when someone on a diff. ps3 tries to use the same non plus account.

im unsure of what you mean by that. if you are referring to the points that ms uses, then no. PS price is what you pay for in dollars

I already have ps+ from before. I am trying to create a gameshare using new acc. however, my new acc seems to have my same ps+ benefits on my ps3, I was asking if this only applies on my console or to other consoles as well

Answers my question. Yeah, I don't know how PS+ purchases work, but whether you decide to use ps+ or not, those are the costs per person.

PS+ perks work system wide. If you sign under you non PS+ account, go and see if you can purchase the the game at the PS+ price. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. I'm in a PS+ share right now, and my main account still lists normal prices.

I concur.
 
As do I. Once you download it though, every account can play it, and you can even keep it after your PS+ membership expires (only applies to what you pay for, not the free stuff.)

Also, still selling a share of Siren: Blood Curse for $6. Its a $40 PSN game that was remade from a PS2 game. PM if interested.
 
With the reduced price for Castle Crashers, maybe someone out there is willing to sell their share of it to me? Also still looking for Pixeljunk Shooter 2 share.

If nobody is selling, I might have to set up my own gameshare with these 2 games on tow.

It doesn't matter whether you have ps+ from before. When you create a new account and purchase something from that account, you don't get the discount. You only get the discount if you use the account WITH the PS+ to purchase the game.
