CAG PSN Gamesharing #3 - Find/Create a Gameshare Group and Gameshare FAQ

It was a gift. At least I thought it was, I told him to send it as a gift. It says payment type: instant, but it also says that for my past gameshare transactions that were gifts.

I just checked Qriocity, the password/login has not changed and there are 5 machines activated.

The same thing just happened to me. It was for the Red Dead Redemption share i sold to DJHVIDAL. I'm going to shoot him a pm to ask what this is all about.
 
That's the same user as me. I didn't want to name names. I checked him out before I sold it, I think he had 7 trade feedbacks and over 200 posts so he looked okay. If he's scamming us I'm surprised he didn't change the account password.

Wow! I hope there is a simple explanation for this. I've changed the password for the share as a precaution - i suggest you do the same, Solid Snake
 
I didn't want to lock other users out of the account...

All right, I don't feel good about it but I changed the password. I still have access to the email account but I don't think that needs to be changed cause only me and the host knew it.

Well in that case you just tell paypal that there were no goods, that it was a gift to you.
 
The last time something like that happened, it was because a guy was using his "friend's" paypal account, and the owner of the account disputed it as an unauthorized payment. I guess it wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happened with you guys.

Too late for that. I explained to them that I had sold him a PSN code on a message board. I can't be 100% sure it was a gift payment right now, all it says there is payment type "instant"

Could be, but seems unlikely. His CAG name and paypal email/real name are almost identical.

Well I wasn't going to lie to Paypal. I don't want to get my account shut down over $5.
 
Maybe their kid went on a gameshare shopping spree. The fact that they disputed so many transactions may work in everyone's favor. PayPal may say they need to be more secure. It may help if you all had a similar story though.

EDIT: Ugh, they look suspect. They may have 299 posts, but check the dates. They last posted on 12/8/10 until hitting up the gameshare thread in early November with a long list of wants!

For being gone almost an entire year, I find this rather excessive. There's your RDR account Heavyd814life. Who's looking to buy PURE? That was the biggest thing that popped out to me.

You might as well, they just blackballed themselves for no good reason. The whole thing doesn't make sense if everyone's dispute gets canceled in less than 24 hours. They'll be lucky if PayPal doesn't ban them.

If now PSN allows 2 slots per game that has been bought.. Why are you guys looking for more people ?
The first two ones use it and when they finish the game pass it to the other ones ? Or how does it work ?

Ouch, Alice is $40 bucks. Too bad because it was a relatively small download (4.8GB). No love for Plus subscribers either. It also doesn't include the original Alice either.

WOW, PSN is throttling the price on Red Faction: Armageddon! First it was 29.99, then the bundle with DLC was $32.99, now the original, plain version is $39.99!!! Maybe Alice was mistakingly overpriced as well.
