It seriously upsets me that there will be paid DLC on the same day a game is released. Seriously, if I am paying $60 for a game, I want the whole fucking game, not to have to pay another $10 on release date to get extra missions.


With that said, I am down to add the pre order and DLC if all other members are.

I think it is $10.

If we add it to the account the breakdown would be $3.33 extra for mains (or $23.33 total) and $1.67 for phantoms (or 11.67 total).

LMFAO, seriously.

And to top it off the DLC is significant. (Prothean Teammate???) it will be 70.00 total. I dont HAVE to have the DLC with this group but I would prefer it since I really don't want to create a extra PSN for DLC.

And its not like we're paying the whole price anyways right?

Pre-order DLC is free, we just have to buy it early.

I'm mainly concerned about adding the paid DLC

Are you okay with adding the From Ashes DLC(10.00)?
 
They explained that the DLC was made AFTER the game. They finished up the game in January and immediately started working on the DLC.

I don't always justify day one DLC, but it seems reasonable in this case.

I have to disagree. I can understand if it was too late to have the content added to the disc, but they could easily give this DLC away free as a download. If they have a game that is not released yet, but have already completed extra content for that game prior to release than it should be included with the game for full cost purchases. As I said before, if I am buying a game (especially on release date) I expect to get the entire game, not a percentage of it and then have to buy the rest at $10 per piece. What makes it worse in my mind is that in 6 months to a year they will repackage the game with all DLC and sale it again as a new game (GOTY or whatever they want to call it). I understand strong business, but to me this is just raking your customers over the coals for every nickel and dime they think they can get.

Anyways, enough of that rant, and like I said I am down to add this DLC to the account if all other members are down as well. As for the pre-order, I have my funds ready and am willing to make the purchase as soon as the rest of the members submit payment, PM me for payment details. If we add the DLC account the breakdown would be $3.33 extra for mains (or $23.33 total) and $1.67 for phantoms (or $11.67 total).

My thoughts exactly. The only reason that I'm not standing by ground and refusing to buy this is because its mother fucking Mass Effect 3.

Any Journey groups floating around? I'd be in for an I Am Alive group, but I'm leaning more towards getting it on Xbox as part of the House Party promotion.

I'm looking to get back into gamesharing seeing as I've cleared up some HDD space and have acquired some PayPal funds. :D
 
If I Am Alive does not come out around the same time as Journey, I'll back out. I was mostly interested in I Am Alive.

Just heard that standalone Killzone 3 multiplayer will be on sale on the psn starting next week for 14.99.

It's going to be free with a level cap (10), or pay to unlock the cap and get all maps.
Don't know how its going to work trophywise
 
That's pretty cool. I've had Killzone 3 twice, but sold/traded both copies. The only thing keeping me from getting rid of both copies was the multiplayer.

We are waiting for 2 to confirm that I should host. We also should discuss adding the DLC to the group. Personally, I vote yes for it. I know I would want it anyhow and really don't feel like taking up another user account on my PS3 just for it.

pff im more than OK that they are charging for the dlc.. Basically, i'd view this as hugging the devs with miniscule cash for bringing this to psn on day 1 ! Thanks Bioware!(lol) BUT had gsharin gon extinct i'd be upset. - yes to added DLC - pm incoming.
