I agree, but will probably pass on the game - on PSN. It'll probably be atleast $49.99, plus I usually buy my RPG's on-disc.

Alot of it comes down to preference. If you like RPG's, you have probably played alot worse than Game of Thrones, and will probably enjoy the game for what's good about it. Where as, a game like Trials HD would probably get no higher than a 2 from me, but got amazing reviews.

i hear you, and 50 bucks will def be to much to bother with. im hoping for a better deal especially because of the known terrible review scores, which imo is ridiculous considering they are all nearly the same... something fishy about them. though there is this 1 i found moments ago who gave a 7.5 http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/games/pc/Game-of-Thrones-Review-272373.shtml

I absolutely hated DA1 on the PS3. The controls were weird. That said, DA:O is one of my favorite games (top 3) on the PC.

DA:O wasn't meant to be played on a console. That freedom of getting a bird's eye view on the battle and the ability to do simultaneous command easily makes the PC version of DA:eek: fa superior to the consoles one. Plus, the game is brutal on hard. I loved every second of it.

To this day, i cannot understand the likes of pc/mouse gaming. mouse + tiny screen, i dunno. . .

Mouse gives you better control. Of course, there are games where the controller is far superior (mostly games where precision is not an issue ie: RPGs, third person shooters). In very fast paced games (RTS, FPS, MobAs) the Keyboard mouse is definitely better.

And as for DA:O, the console versions were dumbed down. You can't give commands to all your players at the same time. You have to do it one at a time. You also can't control the camera (if I remember correctly). And I think the list command (forgot what its called, the one where the characters does X when X happens) is also dumbed down.

Let's put it this way. The easy mode on the PC version is the console's normal mode. Our normal is your hard. Bioware knew that the restrictions on the console and adjusted the ddiffculy accordingly.

Plus, 24" at 2.5 feet away almost the same as a 42" 6-77 feet away. It's all a matter of perspective. :)
 
Monitor > TV

I have a 42 inch TV in my room but I hooked up my PS3 to one of my 22 inch LED monitors and never looked back.

Also Mouse & Key , once you get used to it is far superior then a controller. More accurate & Quicker, also being able to input dozens of commands in a second or two is just awesome.

But with certain games I prefer console.

PS. Good luck to all my gamesharing buddies the old ones and the new ones. I have completely moved over to PC gaming if anyone of you has steam my steam ID Kaipuke. I will no longer be part of the ps3 gameshares anymore since I sold off my ps3 to the brother. I will gladly host for anyone who can't find a host.

Mouse is more accurate than an analog stick, I'll give you that. However, a keyboard is not designed for gaming. You can't tilt the WASD keys to walk. If a console game has typing in it, I'd love to use a keyboard for that only. Using a keyboard for all functions in a game is painful to me. In an PC game I've ever played, I would far prefer to use my thumb to move my char. But who cares, its all a matter of choice and this isn't a console vs. pc gaming thread, so let's phantom up some PSN games!

I'm not starting a flame war here or anything. Both medium have its advantages. Similar to you, I played a WRPG on the PC and it was horrid. I had to buy one of those controllers just to get through it.

You just have to get used to it, and monitors generally have quicker response times then tv's.

And like Bast said, not all games are better with Keyboard, just certain types such as RTS and FPS's.

hi guys, if you guys want to put in some money for some DLC I would more than happy to organize. I live in California so I am in the Pacific Time Zone. It doesn't matter if you are in the PST but I would prefer it as we would be more flexible with time. All time zones welcome.
