Just click on load game it'll load up your old save from the original Dragon's Dogma.

I think it's because he got the UK version of Dark Arisen but his save is from the US vanilla version.

I HAD to start a new game when I loaded DA.
now every time I hit Load Game it jumps to my lv.7 instead of my DD character =(

Looks like i have to sell my spot in Dargon's Dogma:Dark Arisen [ hosted by: boostedgt ] currently having issues downloading the game.It doesn't go past 88%, slows my ps3 down and shows a blank icon while downloading :/ needless to say im pissed i have to sell it. that is if no solutions are found by tomorrow.

I have seen the icon corrupted (being blank) on the SEN site as well as on the PS3. As for the download getting stuck, have you tried downloading multiple times and are having it stuck at 88% or is this the first time you have attempted to download?

i've attempted 3 complete times and then a few more trying not to get the corrupted icon to no avail.

Took me 3 tries to finsih installing it, first time it got stuck at 95%, second time @ 88% and 3rd time it worked(all times had no icon)

Seems to start installing slower once it gets pass the 80% mark.

Also only thing I did different the 3rd time was not download it in the psn store(back ground download)

Anytime, I don't mind hosting and typically I am on here enough that the timing is no issue either. Doesn't take that long to do but the important thing is to properly track everything in case there is an issue down the road.

To my knowledge there is no confirmed date yet. The supposed date is August 2013 and I just haven't made groups out as far as August. I currently have May and June listed.

This really sucks because I know that you were really looking forward to the game. Keep trying if you want. There is no real time limit before I change the password. It is all about your frustration level more than anything else.

However on a separate note, I like that you missed a "space" when you were typing out Dragon's Dogma : Dark Arisen and therefore it inserted a smiley face. If only you actually had a :D about the game.

Have you tried downloading it in the foreground? (NOT background download)
so DL-LIST > Click game and leave (overnight perhaps)

Heard this works for the bigger game downloads, Had to do this when I bought the Uncharted Dual pack and no matter what getting Uncharted 1 via bkg-download would always corrupt. but when I tried foreground, it worked.

No DL was fine, I was getting stuck at install.

Just keep trying man, don't give up, as boosted said theres no rush.

I had the corrupted icon while downloading and while installing, but after It installed, I got the normal animated icon. I guess they didn't bother uploading a static icon for when it's downloading/installing. Of course, that doesn't help your with it stalling out. Mine downloaded slow but never stopped. It was the installation that took forever for me - about an hour and fifteen minutes all total. Anyway, I'd try it a bit more. It really is a great game.
 
I hops Sony will fix this downloading issue (hopefully next gen). it happened to me when I tried to download a newly released game(s). their online service is not that great when it compares to xbox. but gameshare beats everything :)

downloading is no longer the issue. now it's the install -_- won't go past freggin 13%

That means the download was corrupted. You will have to delete it and re download the whole thing.

This used to happen to me a lot, though luckily it hasn't in a year or so. Reset your internet router and download again.

This was happening to me a year ago and it was (to my belief) because of the amount of space my hard drive had left. If i recall it was about 10-16GB left available. But after i upgraded my PS3's hard drive to a 500GB, installing new games went much faster. Again I'm not sure if this is the solution but I'm just throwing it out there.
