Unless the DLC is DRM free, there is no way deleting the user will leave it active. DLCs that come on disc will always work because disc DLC is drm free.
So if you're downloading it through PSN, it will never work the way he is saying unless the company stupidly forgot to put DRM on it. Gearbox isn't going to overlook that with a season pass. I'm going to need proof to believe that his method for keeping the DLC is valid. I know for a fact the 360 versions of the dlc through the season pass have licenses on them, so I doubt it would be different for PSN.
