Oh just great! So he was probably the one that changed the pass and stole it. Im not sure how scammers mentality work but i don't suppose asking him politely would make him consider giving it back?

Need advice, how sketchy is it to buy a game account on eBay, is it even allowed? Is there a way I could permanently loose it through no fault of mine? My gf bought me overwatch on eBay thinking it was a physical copy because it had shipping as a first class package and she didn't realize it was an account

You can lose it anytime they reset the account. If its an illegally funded account you actually risk your ps4 getting banned. They might use some other (legit) trick tho, I know for a while in some EU countries you could fund PSN with all kinds of mobile prepaid cards and so often save like 80% on PSN, as there was ways to get massive amounts of these cards real cheap. Maybe this still works in some regions, no idea that would explain how they actually make a profit on these accounts.

PCGamesupply has canadian codes for $38 US i believe they work in US too

but Im not getting PS+ lol, i still have ~ 10 monthly codes from IGN that work on new accounts, ... its a scam. The games are mostly broke and ugly or crashing, and the PS+ sales discounts arent real. they just made normal discounts less to give the full discount to ps+ only, no thanks.

So the guy my gf accidentlly bought an account from off eBay is giving me a hard time on a refund. Is it dnen legal to sell accounts on eBay? I feel like it would violate some terms of service for either eBay or Sony. Has anyone heard of ps account sellers on eBay getting shut down?

You could check the ebay policy overview on selling digital goods, see if the seller complies with everything that's there. Doubt selling accounts it's there

They do get shut down, this is highly illegal. A lot of those accounts get funded with stolen credit cards.

yes, selling accounts is illegal on ebay. Don't deal with them directly, just select 'not as described', call ebay customer service and tell them you want a refund. Don't speak to the 'seller'.

Hey, so I haven't stopped in here in ages. Cool to see things are still going after the phantoms hit the fan.

Does anyone happen to have an Overwatch resell? Unfortunately, I can't imagine there are too many of these accounts floating around since the phantoms would have been useless.

People are holding the price on the physicals of this like a dog with a bone.

I think the only reason X1 players are separate is because of the way the MS servers are set up, MS wants to be able to control the servers I think and that makes the cross play not possible between all 3 but Somy does allow it on some games but mostly only mmos so far
