One more person and we can start our group for Burnout Paradise and all the DLC except the Time Savers Pack which can be unlocked in-game. This would include Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Bundle, Legendary Cars Collection, Toy Car Collection, Boost Specials Collection, Cops and Robbers, Big Surf Island and we would also purchase any future DLC. Anyone thinking about forming a share group for the half price games? I'd like to jump into flower, the last guy, comet crash, and bomberman. Also Madden Arcade and Killzone bundle.

On the way out? There is no "out". It's possible to live without DLC from Sony OR Microsoft numbnuts.

I think a lot of people just don't have the capacity to not support something (like those idiots who said they were going to boycott Modern Warfare 2 and then were caught playing it on Stream) and when they see someone who can hold their dollars back, they just get tightly wound up in their ability to abstain.

So, in case anyone didn't see, the 3 limit turned out to be fake. (Yay for gaming journalism and "typos") It's still 5 active consoles max.

You are 100% right. If someone wants to make others beg for a code that is there prerogative. I never called him a name I said the act of having a popularity contest was douchey. I'll be his best friend if he wants. I just believe in helping as many people out as possible. When I opened the GOW3Demo account I thought it would activate so I was telling people to deactivate after they were done so we could spread it around. It was only after a little while that I found out demos don't activate the account on your console. You can't tell me that his post to have a contest for something he could have given 5 people to just one was kinda self promoting.

In other news the Killzone 2 map group is filling up fast.

I didn't know about demos being available to more than 5 people, cause if I would have, I would have just created a dummy account and shared the info. I just thought asking people to PM me was the best way, so that I didn't flood the topic with unneeded posts.

Its not the system it's the account. So you could still gameshare but everyone that wanted to play would have to log onto the group account to play it. Would suck for trophy whores like myself. But hasn't happened (yet?) so I plan on playing the hell out of my group PSN games.

Of course, that's just Sixaxis's interpretation of the TOS, technically you have to have the account locally now for activation so they could be jumping to conclusions.

Exactly. PSN games for trophies are now out of the question. I wonder how DLC works though.

sounds like they just mean games that require the 24 hour delay such as warhawk, games pretty much unshareable anyway. The new TOS may include online games such as Fat Princess though and that would suck. As far as I can tell nothing/not-much has changed.

I never said anything about tenure. The problem that I have is people who are not as familiar with the community probably should not be calling out people who have been around for a long time. That's pretty much the way it works in most online communities. Maybe you can learn something about that when you go to college in a few years.

Your mindset is the reality for you. That does not mean it is the recognized mindset of Sony or game developers. Their mindset is that a $10 game is a $10 game.

It's essentially no different than if the company did a PS3 update blocking out all PSX discs from playing on your systems just so you had to buy them from PSN.

It is different. One method allows for consumers to play already purchased material on an approved platform, the other is purchasing newly developed games at a fraction of the cost.

I can understand though how it feels like you would be having something stripped away from you. I cannot imagine that this function is the only reason anyone bought a PS3 to begin with, especially when they were higher priced than the competition like when that quote came from Trenton. But if it is the sole reason you bought it, I can see your perspective, but I still see why developers are pressuring Sony to do away with it and I would appreciate them having to make a business decision to do this.

As a general reminder though, I think we should all refrain from name calling and such, as it is beneath any of us to do so just because we have differing opinions.

Hey guys, I just bit on Dragon Age Origins for $35 from Amazon. Hoping it will be a good game.

Anyone got a share of Stone Prisoner DLC I can get? I dunno how much you'd want for it but hopefully someone has it...
 
I was wondering if DLC from special editions of games can be shared. Like the Ultimate Sith Edition and the GOTY versions of LBP and Fallout.

EDIT: Oh, and Call of Duty Classic too.

They have to show up in your Download list to be shared. Unless those games come with a voucher to redeem them on PSN then no. As far as I know those extras are all on the discs so they wouldn't show up for download.

Call of Duty Classic can be shared since it comes as a code you can redeem on PSN. I know some people that have shared it.

If someone has COD Classic and wants to sell a share let me know :D

Might want to keep an eye on ebay, there were a few Stone Prisoner DLC codes on sale this morning for $3.99BIN and a week ago for $4.99BIN.

Actually now I see there are two DLC's, Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner. If someone has both and is willing to share em I'd appreciate it.

All new copies of Dragon Age come with the code for Stone Prisoner/Shale.

Warden's Keep is the one you need to buy separately.

Also, the CoD voucher from MW2 is shareable as well as DLC content from collector's editions (Dragon Age, Sith Edition, whatever).
 
I thought the Collector's Editiion was the only one that came with the Stone Prisoner DLC? I'll check again, but I'm pretty sure thats the case. The one I bought on Amazon for the $34.99 lightning deal was only the reg. edition.
