Is anyone here interested in setting up an account where we all put in say 10-20 Dollars a ammount the whole group agrees on and we buy a bit of stuff - GAMES only ? Due to people being from different regions. I can't exactly Buy the stuff seeing my Credit Card Has expired and i didn't renew it.

If any one is interested to do it and do the payment it would be great, as a group we could decide if we want to get just new games or some classics.

Dinner Rush, Outrun Online, TMNT, Pixel Junk ETC all come to mind.

Sharing must be done on a specific account. You wouldn't want to distribute your personal account for sharing 'cause obviously they'd have access to everything you have.

You need to create a new user in your machine, and create a new PSN account just for sharing. Then, only download content that you're willing to share within that account. Usually, people ask for interest and payment first, and then create a set of games (or single game.)

Otherwise, you download whatever you want in that account, and keep advertising it until people are willing to pay for what you downloaded.
 
If you purchase the items with your credit card; make sure you go into "Playstation Network" > "Account Management" > "Billing Information" and hit the "Delete card info" button. It doesn't leave enough info for someone to lift your card info per se; but I do believe they can still make PSN purchases without confirmation at that point. CAG is a good group for the most part, but never hurts to be safe. :)

I want to get in on this action, but I got a couple of questions that maybe a kind fella can answer. If I'm understanding this right: If I download a game from a gameshare account, I can't remove the account from my PS3 or the game will be gone? I downloaded a theme from a friend and they didn't disappear when I removed his account from my PS3. So does removing accounts only apply to PSN games??

Oh, awesome. In summation, you are saying to have a separate account for each game you are sharing, or games you are willing to share.

What I'm wondering... let's say I download a game, give it to my brother and a friend, then want to share it with 2 other people at an equal share. If I have existing games, they would have complete access to everything unless the download slots are taken.

I would assume the PSN store would display the icon telling them it was already downloaded.

Yes, it helps to have honest friends to do this with (who won't go sharing your info with others). With most of the shares I initiate, I usually buy and share with my brother, and then sell the other 3 slots on here. All 3 slots will have access to whatever games were downloaded on that particular account.

Only caveat is that you cannot have more than 16 users on any ps3, so doing single gameshares is really not the best idea.

is it possible for you to make an alt account, share a game with someone else, wait till they get the game, then delete the alt from your PS3, or would that make the content useless

Under Warhawk, it explicitly states there's a 24 hour lock. I didn't find anything about that on Burnout, and one post a long time ago I found said there were no problems with online play, so it should be good to go. Are you interested? You'd be the fifth person.

no thanks, just asking a community I trust for experienced answers,

& to the guy asking about sharing: Keep in mind when you share an account that has multiple titles there is no way to share each game separately (5 shares of each) there is a max of 5 shares of the Account and ALL titles on it, not the other way.
 
I have gameshared Burnout Paradise before and there weren't any issues relating to account locks due to more than one user being on at the same time.

I will be making an account with ALL Resident Evil 5 DLC, THREE shares available as I will be taking up two.

Versus Mode ($5)
Lost in Nightmares ($5?)
Costume Pack 1 ($3?)
Desperate Escape ($5?)
Costume Pack 2 ($3?)
Mercenaries Reunion ($??)

Projected total is $25, (I've actually already bought Versus on this account) so a share will probably be $5. This is subject to change of course as I don't believe Capcom has set a price for the upcoming DLC. I'm buying it all anyway and just want to sell 3 shares to offset the cost.
