Going with GwG's expanded ruleset:

Each answer must start with the given letter.

For names either the first or last name may start with the letter.

If you have two (or more) words in your answer that begin with the given letter, you get a point for each good word. For example, if the clue letter was M and the clue was 'A cartoon character' Mickey Mouse would score 2 points.

Starting with an adjective does not count (unless it's part of the name or really really good)

A given word only counts once per answer. (For example Time After Time would be just one point.)

Hyphenated words score one point only. So Take-Two would be worth just one point.

The word, "The," does not count if it's the name of something.

You may use the internet to find answers.

If you have a strange or unusual answer, please submit a link so that I can verify the validity of the answer.

You have only 15 minutes to find your answers. Please be honest in this aspect of the game. This means you should check the time when you open the spoiler tag containing the categories and PM me your answers when your time is up. Honor system in effect.

PM me with your answers.

Your letter is T.

1. A motor vehicle
2. A building (either specific or general)
3. Something you put on your head
4. Something that would ruin your day
5. A major motion picture (i.e. something released in theaters nationwide in the US, not some film your buddy made in college)
6. Item you can use as a frisbee
7. A Billboard #1 song. (Any chart - artist name does not count for points)
8. An animal
9. A company listed on either the NYSE, NASDAQ, or AMEX. (Company name, not stock ticker)
10. A drug
11. A fictional land
12. Somebody who has done a voice on The Simpsons.

Please PM me just your answer list without the question or a number in front. If you accidentally leave that in it's not a big deal, but it's easier for me without them.

You basically come up with an answer for each category that starts with the given letter.

So if the letter was G and 2 of the categories were

A state
A boy's name

You could answer with:
Georgia
Gary

The twist is that if anyone else in the game also answers Gary for a boy's name neither of you would get the points for it.

In for 1. A couple of those I couldn't come up with an answer for. Oh well. Woulda needed another 20 mins or so to come up with answers for em.

Closing at 9AM, so in 20 minutes. But it doesn't seem like there will be any more entries anyway. 15 entries so far I believe.

With the little app I created I can score the whole thing asap - although I do still have to make sure common answers collapsed properly and decide if an answer should count or not - but I'll dole out the answers little by little so we can discuss. Probably post them up slowly until people actually get on.

Including Twin Turbo in lordwow's score is iffy IMO, but I'm allowing it unless convinced otherwise. -- Decided to strike out Twin Turbo

I figured there would be a lot of Toyotas. I like Linkin's answer. Not what you'd expect and did avoid a block.

Well I did like Linkin's answer, but as Warner pointed out, there is no motor in a travel trailer.

Model T doesn't start with T.

Twin Towers is/was a set of buildings, not a building.
for question 1... twin turbo probably shouldn't be in there. Also, does a travel trailer actually have a motor?
Ooo, good point on travel trailer. Hadn't thought of that.

Truck would be fine as it has a motor, but a travel trailer is pulled by a motor vehicle, it isn't itself a motor vehicle.

Need some more input on Twin Turbo

Gotta love fart_b's answer. Only 3 scoring answers on this one.

Twin Turbo= no
Twin Towers= yes

And as a kick in the ass to myself, I was trying to decide between Toyota Tacoma and Toyota Tundra... apparently I picked the wrong one.

To me Twin Turbo is an option, If the letter was S and someone added SS to the name of the vehicle i would not expect that to count. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Toque and Tossel Cap = the same thing?

Even if they are I'm not sure if that should invalidate the answers anyway. I don't know if Scattergories rules address that situation.

I should have put Toyota Truck :)

Toyota Truck would have been interesting... Should it count as just truck with toyota being a disallowed adjective, similar to how I'd treat 'Tan Truck' or not? Moot point, of course.
Something you put on your head

Good show, sir.

Shouldn't that count as 2 points? LMAO!

I actually submitted "tweed trilby" as my answer for "something that you put on your head", and only "trilby" was accepted. In the interest of consistency I think the "Toyota" shouldn't be counted.

I figured truck might be the disallowed adjective, otherwise all of the toyota answers would be minus 1 point. I wander how that would have turned out.

I also say that Toyota shouldn't count. You said Motor Vehicle, meaning a vehicle, not the description of one. Toyota is used more to describe what type of vehicle.

EDIT: I was shocked too Ikohn
