Sorry for getting off so early, I was too hung over for Socom. Paintball was cool though, especially on Frostfire.

2 Clan Matches tonight, one at 10 and one at 11
 
If I had a dollar for every time Lion complained about the 9mm Sub being stronger, or NightHawk's heavy armor, or lagging, I'd be doing pretty well :lol:

Good games though. I enjoyed the paintball games, it's nice to change it up.

I'm going to miss the 10pm match, but I should be on for the 11pm one.

we need to play longer, it takes me a few games just to get my bearings.
paintball was very fun. im up for that anytime.

i was gonna mention it last night, but if any of you are in arizona you can get a free ps3 from cox. theres a thread on slickdeals for it.

sorry, i was watching a movie. i saw the clan match message but only 2 of you guys were on and in quick matches by then.
 
Yup it ended up being No shows. GOod games against some good clans last night though. Gold stick with that OTS b/c you were on FIRE

do you use the lean functions a lot?
ive been fiddling with controls views loadouts, everything recently. i can see better with classic i think but using the lean doesnt seem natural for me.

I use the classic view because you can see so much more around corners and walls, but I've started to use the over the shoulder view the last couple nights and it's been good. I still keep it in the classic view so I can tap back and forth between the two.

Yeah they probably are, its weird because this is definitely not a Amarillo move. The Pens were a point behind the devils two days ago, now were definitely getting stuck with the 4 seed :cry:. Not that any of it matters, who ever wins the west is winning the cup, I still think if the Sharks pull it together in the playoffs (HUGE IF I KNOW) they win the cup. I think Chicago is a year away, but next year and into the future look out.
 
Stupid fucking Leafs, how the hell do you blow a 3-2 lead with less than one minute to go, and lose in regulation... Just when I thought one of the games in hand the Devils had over the Pens was going to lead to 0 points, the real Leafs decided to show.
 
quick question. how's the online multiplayer? I see you all talking about group matches and clan stuff that's why. I was thinking of buying the game used as it's about $15 now but i'm hesitant because I wanna know first if there are alot of people still playing it online or is it hard to find a match/or take awhile to find a match. Thanks

That actually made me laugh out loud, its VERY active online. you can get on at any time of the day and find find plenty of games of every type.
 
why would it make you laugh out loud? I owned the game a year and a half ago before my 60gb got the ylod and so i sold it once it got fixed and just recently got a ps3 slim. when i had the 60gb i would play socom but i would just find about 3 other people to play with online. I guess i'll buy it used and try it out and if all else fails, i can just return it.

Socom has a large following still. Plus the CAG community is the best.
 
You'll have to send Smiggity/Smogitup a pm or psn msg as he takes care of the clan invites. CAG night takes place on Sun. And if you want to practice and get the hang of the game, join non ranked rooms (towards the bottom of lists) where it's respawn and 16v16.
 
A couple of weeks ago at a frat party, I began to get with a pretty cute girl. As the night wore on, and the drinks started flowing, she took me back to her apartment. When I entered her room, the first thing I saw was a giant Sidney Crosby poster. Without saying another word to her, I left. My buddies have never stopped making fun of me since, but I still insist that it was the proudest moment of my life as a die-hard Flyers fan. Can you please give me some consolidation, or should I have just swallowed my pride? In my defense, I would not qualify her as "hot."

Yeah the Portal reference is a good enough present.

God watching that game yesterday hurt, I knew as soon as the penalty on Orpik was called they were going to lose. I still think the Caps don't play good enough defense to get out of the east much less win the cup.

I have no idea about the guy the Flyers picked up, I haven't looked at the reaction in the Philly papers.

As for the Bill Simmons "these are my readers" question, it would take a lot for me to leave the apartment. Unless it was a picture of Steven Gerrard, maybe a Yankee or Met.

If I ever get into the same situation 3v1 on blizzard demo. I'm going to head for the bulldozers, jump onto the bulldozer truckbed, and just lay prone until the round is over. I wasn't thinking straight, hiding behind another tree the second time, lol. Bad decision making on my part.
