Make sure you wait a moment for them to load, I kept getting "no active games" but then they would load up after a moment.
 
Had a blast playing earlier today while I was at home ! Hope to get a few games in online tomorrow after I get home from work.
 
Thanks for the prozes KaneRobot, this makes it much more exciting! Murc, Link and I were playing earlier and it was very fun.
 
The rules, prizes, and everything sounds great, and i can't wait to get going with the tourney!! should be lots of fun!

Son of a bitch! I got an invite from Franky to play but when I tried to accept it the option was not available... WTF??? I will try to get on again tonight... grrr....

Ok, that prize convinced me to quit being a cheap bastard and just buy Uno.

I can't imagine what I would do with 3200 points if I somehow managed to win.

Hey, I'm so sorry I did not sign up for this tourny. It looks like it is going to be a lot of fun for those of you who entered. Anyways, I just got the game earlier today and am having a blast with it. Also I have not seen this posted yet so I thought I would make you guys aware of it, Downloadable Content is available for Uno. Here are the details...

Uno- 35th Anniversary Theme Deck

It's Uno's 35th Anniversary, and we're celebrating with new cards, rules, music, and background art.

Best of all it's free!

I just got it and played a quick round. While it doesn't add a whole lot to the game, it does expand the gameplay slightly. Well worth the price.

Don't worry about it too much, I'm already thinking about what to do for the next one if interest is still high a month or three from now.

AFAIK, in the original UNO card game, you were NOT allowed to play the draw 4 card unless that was your only play available...I guess the devs added the "bluff" option so that the draw 4 card could be played anytime, but still keep the game true to its origins by allowing a "challenge" to it.

If by some chance someone bails on playing their tournament game I'd be willing to hop in. Beyond that if anyone wants to play some time PM me. I figure I'll be on this a lot this weekend.

I wish they'd release the ORIGINAL cards though (showing my age!) with the Draw Two/Four written on them.

I did pretty well last night once I found someone to play with.. won 4 out of 5 hands. And yeah, it is very luck oriented.

Hopefully it'll be easier to find people to play with tonight if the servers aren't being hammered. I got the "no games availible" thing too, despite all my friends playing it.

Ditto. The wild and wild draw fours were mixing me up for a while until I got used to the look of the cards.

However, since they released a 35th Anniversary Pack, I'd certainly hope that they release a retro pack as well with the 80's style cards that had the more obvious text. I have no idea if there were styles before that.

Yeah, there's hope still, since that section's there.

I grabbed the 35th anniversary pack thinking that'd be it.

Ah well, it just takes getting used to.

Now if I could just get my wife to stop playing the thing :D
 
i can't believe i missed this...i want in the next one or just to play against some normal people in general. i had a decent time with this game yesterday, but then i ran into gangsta uno players. i had little teenagers saying stuff like "DRAW TWO SON!" and "SKIP YOU! SKIP YOU BITCH!"...seriously.
 
I definitely want to play tonight. I had a bunch of CAG's on my list playing last night but the rooms were full. I hope to have better luck tonight.

I downloaded the game yesterday and I have to say, I like it. Although the Orange computer is a DICK. fucker kept hitting me with skips and draw twos and such.

Anyhow, I'm definitely up to get some UNO ON with you folks any time this weekend.

maybe I'll download that theme if I have time.
 
my live wins say 12 but i didnt get the live achievement.....im assuming its because some of the 4 players were computer opponents from people dropping out and what not....anyone know for sure?

Playing with the 35th anniversary deck doesn't unlock stuff for achievements. Play with the regular deck and it will unlock.

Example: I only played with 35th Anniversary deck and used 43 draw 2's. I did not get the 40 draw two achievement. I then play one game on Uno regular deck and play a draw two (making my total 44, which is still over 40). The achievement then unlocks.

im not sure about that....i was under the impression that the "40" achievements only occured the next game in which you played one of those cards.....so, you could go over 40, by say 4, but it wouldnt register until you played another game, getting #45
 
I'm basing this off my example which happened to me, since all I played was Uno 35th after the initial run through of testing both decks.

Afteredit: Its still a glitch no matter which way is the right way to explain it. Atleast in this arcade game we can all still unlock all the achievements, unlike in Outpost Kaloki X.

I don't think that's true. I unlocked those 40 card ach during a diff matches but right in the middle of a game.
 
One thing I noticed - I've been dropped from a game once in a while...fortunately, since you can join games-in-progress it shouldn't be that big of a problem since the booted person can just come back a minute later. I hope.
