The manager I spoke with the day of the tournament said that they will have a Halo tournament next year and the way they are dealing with the M-rated issue is having it after hours. This GS closes late so I can see a late night tournament happening.
Any chance people under 18 can play with supervisor's permission or something. All i can play is H3 and CoD4 :[ i dont think ill do too well in GH3 >_>.

The staff at GS said to start calling store after January. There's no date for the GHIII tournament yet but when it is set most of the advertising is going to be from the store itself, probably because they know they'll get a lot of people just by word of mouth alone. They barely mentioned the Madden one on the website so calling is the best bet. Their number is 408-261-9011.

looks nice...I'm sure we'll be getting at least one in nyc if these super gs's generate revenue...but I'm not sure if we'll get one in queens...and I'm not gonna go to Manhattan to gs when I can stay in queens and get the same crappy service.

been there 12/24. lots of big screen hdtvs, only good for big events, tournaments, launch titles, or new releases. seating for players only. otherwise, rest of store is same as others. convenient men's room; that's new!

nice stage, lots of money went into it. it's like a modern super arcade built into a gamestore.

worth visiting only during scheduled big events. FPS tournaments ought to be fun.
