Not to mention, considering at least two of our games are forfeits, who knows how many matches have actually been played up to this point. I wonder if things will pick up once the real ladder starts.

Hope not since it would give us a better chance of winning and I really want team CAG to win this tournament and go down in the history books (I'm saying this cause I really want Warhawk nights with everyone of us swinging around that huge winners blade :lol:)

Haha, oh yeah forgot about those statues, they'll be sitting on top of our TVs while we're killing each other with huge swords. Very enticing reason to win this tournament now.:D
 
Dudes... Stop talking about the swords! Here I am set on just being satisfied with the ceremonial knife, but thinking about the ridiculous swordfights we could have is making me want more... :drool:
 
Whoops, shouldn't mention a word anymore about those sweet, badass, honorable, tournament winner swords. Ugghhh, I'm craving some Warhawk now I think I'm going to go play a couple of games.
 
I can't wait to actually make one of these games. I've been travelling a bit this past weekend so couldn't make it, but I will totally make one sometime I need that bonus knife.
 
Yea, I was able to make that one, and then I couldn't join. I'm sure the knife is only for the real ladder though not just practice, so I'll have to make a real match. Does anyone want to make a tourney challenge, at this point? Today is the official start of the tourney--maybe we could make one for Thursday or Friday night?

Just a suggestion--we'd have to see when people are available, but it would be pretty cool if we could get off to a good start.

I think we shouldn't fear them too much... Remember, these CAG nights also serve as practice to better ourselves individually, and as a team. We can only get better... ;)

Yeah... I looked through the schedule and it looks like we'll easily be able to get at least 5 people for any of the days I picked...


And I'll post this again later, but I'd like everyone to post or send me a pm or something when they actually play a match, so I can keep track of who played what how many times.

Should be able to make both on Thursday the 29th. The 1st I can be an alternate on. I have my first day at my new job the day after so I might be getting ready a little more, but if I'm needed I should be able to get on that day, as well.



Edit: Scratch the 1st. I just found out I'm gonna be pretty swamped in my first week of my job, so I won't be able to get on much, if at all. However, I still should be able to make the 29th, and if anything comes up for the 30th I might be able to do that too.
 
I can make all of the new times except for the earlier one Saturday.

And so far I've been in both of the forfeits, but missed the lagtastic match with blu_clan.
 
Theres a good chance I can make it to the thurs sessions, but not too sure about the weekend tho. Either way give them hell guys, and use the gaf asswhoppin as extra motivation.

Just repeat after me "I am not a victim", "It's not my fault!"
 
i can definitely make the jun 1 matches. unsure about the other ones. i'll post to ascertain if i can make the ones on the 29th

Yea unfortunately I'm going to have some problems getting Warhawk time in during my first week of work (6/1-6/6) and even possibly the 7th or 8th depending on how well I catch up in that week.

Don't count me as an alternate for the 1st just in case, but starting the 9th I should be able to play any time between 7 and 11PM. Not sure if I'll be starting work at 8 or 9AM everyday, so that's a semi-conservative estimate. More details next week--I'll be sure to hit the forums as often as I can despite not having much time to play.
 
DnD accepted one of our times... the post was updated, and OSK wanted to reschedule the times... but the times they picked were the same as the ones I picked... So I don't know what's up with that.
 
Is there something in the rules about technicalities on things like that? For example, if they reschedule, do they technically become the challengers by the rules, thus making us host? My thoughts were maybe they were trying to get out of needing to host/rejecting a challenge this way...I'm probably (hopefully) way off, on that one, but it was just a thought that crossed my mind.

Not that I know of... The only thing in the rules about rescheduling a challenge is now I can decline it and no one gets negative points.

I've sent a PM to the team leader and posted a thread in the forum but haven't heard anything back yet.
 
I'm going to a bachelor party Saturday so I can't make it yet again. Hopefully I'll be able to soon. (Also my computer's power supply decided to start making a high pitched whine so I'm stuck using my PS3 browser until I can get it taken care of)
 
So I'm guessing the potential 5/29 game isn't happening.

I can make the scheduled game on 5/31 if we still need people, I'll just be a bit late to CoD4 night. Glad to see it's on Southern Islands, which we played on Tuesday. The blue team dominated the skies!
 
I finally heard back from the guy from OSK, he didn't explain why he re-challenged us with the same dates/times, but said "If one is for tonight at 9:30 I have a team ready"... like I'm going to accept a challenge with a few hours notice. And he didn't say if it was PDT or EDT.:roll:

Anyway, we've been challenged, details are you know where.
 
Well, the tourny seems to be heating up and were lagging behind so I issued a few more challenges.

Also, I wanted to remind everyone about the match tomorrow and I need to hear what time will be best for the game against MOD.

How long will you be in Korea? I don't think the lag would be an issue, but if you won't be there long I'd rather wait until you get back before putting you in a match. Though, if you'll be there for a while I'll definitely put you in a game at least once regardless of any lag so you can get the knife.

Metaly said he could make it if he were late for CoD and Godly said he'd benchwarm so I figure they can be alternates to check in a few minutes after 8 to see if any more people are needed. I'm waiting to hear how long stakis will be in Korea, but he can still be an alternate if needed.
 
Yup, I'm an alternative, hopefully everyone will show up to the game.

I think June 8th is the best time to face M/O/D since we already have a match scheduled for tomorrow.

Yeah, I didn't want to do the 11:30 game since the saturday warhawk night usually lasts for a good 3 hours or so.

Just try to squeeze them together as close as possible, so we can get tons of matches in. Whoever wins this tournament will be playing a match or two every day probably. But I guess the clusterfuck of a website may help us out...
