CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

SoCal... You've really inspired me to make Chili Dogs using your recipe tomorrow... I'm dead serious! :lol:
I'll post pics up of my Chili Dogs sometime tomorrow on this thread.

Saturdays are always pretty small. But we usually play smaller maps to make up for the lack of players, but with GGL I'm doing a lot of the map configs they use as practice.

And I don't remember hearing any bells...:cool:

LOL looks good, and nice looking plate :lol:

You can also swap out the hot dogs for some hot links and/or put sour cream on the top. When I make it for friends I also put the finished product back in the oven for a few seconds to slightly melt the cheese on the top for a more professional look.

So anyway - we still on for this Friday? I hope all is well with Mana...
 
Well I hopped on for an hour or so tonight.. I didn't see any of you CAGers on my list, so I joined another game. :(

Yeah, me too... I hope whatever it is that is keeping Mana down will, for lack of a better word, 'go away'.
I was really disappointed to hear that he might leave CAG for reasons I might not completely be aware of, and it's because he's a great host for CAG nights. :)
But, if it is because of what people might say about him (not to say that I know what's happening, because I don't really know. I'm just speculating here), all I can say is... you can't please everyone, it's just not possible... I learned that the hard way when I was in high school, all you can really do is just be yourself and fuck the haters. You don't want them as friends anyway. ;)

I know I'm a bit off-topic, but I just felt I needed to say this... With that said, I hope there's a game on Friday, because you guys know I'm up for anything Warhawk related. :D

Depending on if the Mets game gets rained out or delayed, I might not be back in time for tomorrow's match. Either way though if I get back I'll sign on when I can and try to join the game. Thanks for the help out Mana, see you guys in the skies...
 
I'll get you invited tomorrow sometime, if I remember. I'm just currently tied up setting up CAG Mario Kart Wii Online (I hope to do the same for that game like I've done for CAG Warhawk).
 
It's all good. I'd be in on that too but I'm just renting MK:Wii, don't think I'll wind up buying it. Anyways, thanks for getting it all together and stuff too.
 
I'll be there tomorrow night, just got back home for the summer and rediscovered how much warhawk completely owns. Tag is BrownThunder85 if anyone wants to game tonight (I'll be on for a lil while longer and most of tomorrow). I plan on grabbing a headset tomorrow so I can communicate/scream at people doing stupid things.

I've all of a sudden lost all interest in CS:Source and am in need of a new online game :(

Btw Mana, just how many "CAG Nights" do you run? o_O
 
Mana, my game tomorrow will probably be non-boosters so you can update the OP if you want. I'll probably put a few tournament zones maps in so people can practice a bit. And there will be dogfights, of course!
 
If boosters won't be needed for tomorrow's game then count me in. Is there going to be a knife-only deathmatch? (I've never got a chance to enjoy a game of knife-only DM before)

I was planning on mostly zones and dogfights tonight. You'll have to submit your jeep race idea to the official Warhawk Olympics committee for consideration. :)
 
I'd like to submit a request to that committee (or some other Warhawk committee) for a "Man vs. Army" match. Deathmatch---->one person gets a bio field generator/wrench--->everyone else hops into a tank. I don't even know what I'm talking about, I'm thinking crazy right now :whee::lol:.
Anyways, I still need to go get myself a DualShock 3 since I'm just a fool right now for not having one and playing Warhawk with a Sixaxis

We've had a few matches like that... I was the "man" once and Super was the "man" another time...
I still haven't put up my picture of how I spent that match when it was everyone against me...

Damn, I wish I was in that match now lol but I sure as hell don't have the skills to survive more than 10 seconds as the "Man". Hopefully I can find a gunmetal DS3 floating around somewhere on eBay after the MGS4 bundle is released. :whistle2:k

I think the map with the most obvious "race track" would probably be the archipelago. From one side to the other as fast as possible in a 4x4. We'd probably want to have it be in a Deathmatch (so we can all trash talk and determine starts and such). Non racers would watch from above in a Warhawk and act as refs (shooting offending players or trying to push them off the cliffs as a penalty)

We could also try and mix it up a little by having a Mario Kart Double Dash 2 person team dynamic with one person manning the machine gun (since a second person can still shoot the gun without being on the same team while in a deathmatch although we might have to limit when a person can start shooting to keep everyone from blowing each other up as soon as the race starts).;)

I've thought way too much about this idea now, but hopefully it might inspire others to come up with ways of improving this idea.
 
The DS3 is great with Warhawk. I'd love to get one of those gunmetal ones, but I'm pretty sure anyone reselling theirs on eBay is going to try to gouge people.

We should line up everyone on the track so they can lob grenades at the racers when they're speeding past them. Either that or lay random mines on the track to keep the racers on their feet.
As much as I would like to have a gunmetal DS3 it's probably foolish to think that I might get it at a reasonable price :lol:.
