Ohh, and just so everone knows, you NEED to make sure you update your GGL profile to include your PSN ID.
I noticed there are a few people that hasn't done that yet.
 
I just signed up, joined the clan and added my PSN id. I am also going to figure out how to ald all of you as friends.

In the XMB under network? (it's the last on the right) ... after you play a game with fellow CAGs, you can look up "recently met" players and then send all your friend requests at once.

Yea, lately everyone's been too busy with GTAIV (including me) and not showing up to CAG Night. I'm gonna definitely try to be there next time. I'll always play Warhawk as long as someone's online

I meant added friends in the site that has the competition we just started :) But I do not think you are on my PS3 list, I will add you in a few minutes. I am going to fire up Warhawk in a few minutes after the Padres low-lights (effing cubs!).

And I see there is a practice thing for this site, I think we should get up on it. We have never played as one team VS another right? It would be good for us to do so before the real thing starts.

We still need a few more people to attach their PSN id to their GGL profile to be able to play practice matches. But if TMK doesn't want to take over as team leader, just let me know when you want me to challenge someone, and I'll be sure to contact everyone if another team happens to challenge us.

Also, I _think_ ( I haven't read it in the rules, but I've only skimmed them so far) all the members of the team needs to be in a clan, since competition games are Player Clan based, so threerandomwords and darkerpsy needs to be put in the clan. So darkerpsy, make sure you show up to one of the game nights so TMK can add you.
 
I am starting up Warhawk now if anybody wants to play a game or two but fuck the system update is installing now and who knows how long thats going to be lol

threerandomwords is in the CAG clan. I've been in the clan for a couple of weeks. I'm the quiet guy who shoots people:whistle2:#
 
Good game just now. It's nice actually playing one of the BM maps with a lot of people on it.

And grr freaky, I can't believe I reached the top of that platform just as your missiles got there. :bomb: Just before that I was wondering where you had been hanging out the whole round... I guess that answered that. :)

I was getting bored protecting the main base, and suddenly you and another player start coming. I think I damaged the other player first with the missiles, and then when I launched a second time, I was surprised to learn that at that moment you were among the two I obliterated. :)

Ahh, okay, I was just going by the clan list on the first page, I guess it isn't completely up to date.

added my psn to my ggl profile. That site is pretty cluttered and confusing:wall:

You have to click where it says "no ID entered" or whatever, because there's no dedicated profile editing page that I've seen. Then make sure to actually click the save button instead of hitting enter, or else it activates some form/link elsewhere on the page. It's really not the best interface.
 
God... I need a tutor to teach me how to use the site.

It seems that simply joining the team doesn't automatically make you part of the competition... maybe.

There's that "Team Competition Rosters" on the right side (I guess it's so there could be a team CheapAssGamer that could include everyone, then rosters for various competitions, like the Warhawk one and, say Halo 3 or whatever:roll:). I managed to add everyone but darkerpsy, threerandomwords, TMK, and Broly. At first I thought it was because of missing PSN ids, but darkerpsy and random has their PSN ids in their profile, but it still doesn't give me the option to add them.:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

I think I might have figured it out.
Everyone needs to make sure you're in this group as well. Everyone that I can't add doesn't have that group in their "User's Groups" section of their profile.

Yeah... somehow mostly everyone was put into that automatically (at least I know I was)... but the four I listed weren't for some reason.

We need 8 people minimum for the squad... the key here is SQUAD.
We have 12 in the team, but only now do we have 8 in the squad.

Like I suspected, people have to join the Warhawk Team Tournament Group in order for me to be able to add them to the squad. Darkerpsy just joined the group and now I can add him to the squad.

I'm wary to challenge anyone until we get more people in the squad because; one, I suspect that members of a squad have to be in the same clan, and darkerpsy isn't in the clan yet, and two, it'd be better to have more people in case someone cannot make a game. I don't think all 8 would need to play, but still, the more the better.

By the looks of it, very few teams are actually practicing:roll:, so who knows if anyone would actually accept a challenge.
 
fuck I was palying with Super King just now and forgot to tell him about this - I was too busy taking his flag and scoring with it in one of the most pain-in-the-ass-maps-for-CTF

Maybe he will still be on after LOST is over with in an hour.....

Tell me about it, I'm not a fan of those huge CTF layouts, ends in a stalemate too often. I miss my CTF-Md servers.

And I joined the GGL group, could be fun. I'm not so sure you get the knife automatically though. I'm wondering if you get it once you pass the 'ladder' portion and advance to the 'brackets' with the top 32 teams.

And Zones-only? Blehh...

I found a GREAT small CTF only blue server yesterday - I was LOVING it! But I forgot to mark it as a fav now I can not find it :bomb: But it was all the small CTFs that are way fun with a crapload of people lol.
