CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

Well guys that was Great fun for my first time out!! Thanks ManaKnight for the organization!!!!

Great games, everyone. Those two TDMs were ridiculously close. There were some good chases during the Omega Factory CTF game too, even though nobody captured either flag. (I think?)
 
Great games everyone. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's games too. My highlight would probably have to have been when I trashed another APC with an APC ram.

I'm pretty close to ranking up again so I will probably be playing a bit tomorrow afternoon (probably in Newbie servers), so keep an eye out for me fellow CAGers. If any new players want to add me as a friend I've still got plenty of spots open.

About the high res youtube trick... there is now a link to the high res video on the youtube page, and there is an option in the account setting to always use the high res video. But it seems that that setting doesn't count on embedded videos. :cry: It looks like you just beat me for MVP in that first video... lucky shot. :bomb:
 
I think I might join in tonight. I've been distracted with other things (mainly trying to beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma before NG II is released) so I haven't had a chance to jump into a game of Warhawk for quite some time now. I'm afraid of how terrible I may have become at Warhawk after not playing for so long haha.

*Edit: Oh damn, never mind I don't have the boosters yet.

Well get the boosters! I think they still have that combo pack up for a great price. The Btoken Mirror pack is awesome. But ya, come join us!!

Now that I got on Godly about joining us... I am still up in the air for tonight, we will have to see what happens when it comes down. I hope I can make it....


edit - looks like the chance of me joining tonight just went up :)

Those who may be possible clan members, I just want to say one thing (sorry if I may sound mean). ONLY join if you are serious. I'm fucking pissed off at those people who ask to be a member of the clan and NEVER fucking accept their invite into the clan. When people do that, they use up one of the 64 slots in the clan, and I cannot remove them because their invite is STILL pending. Those people make me SO angry.
 
You should invite darkerpsy to the clan since he joined the GGL team (I'm going to make a new thread for that pretty soon) and I'm fairly certain that everyone on a team needs to be in the same clan.

Well that's the troubles (or maybe trouble free) of living a life without a credit card haha, I really want those booster packs but I never see any pre-paid credit cards or even the PSN cards (didn't they say they were rolling them out to retailers like a month ago?!?) anywhere I go. As soon as I get a method of adding funds to my account the first thing I'm downloading are the booster packs, hopefully the combo pack isn't going away anytime soon. :p

:hot: Mana is all fired up.

Maybe they can add an option to remove pending members in the next patch. Failing that, we'll have to form a special ops group to hunt down those players in whatever other games they're playing and make their lives miserable. :D
 
So I was wondering how the whole Warhawk tournament works... where if you participate, you get a new Knife skin.?? anyone know how this works?? how do I sign up"?? do I have to be part of a clan?

I'm sure you guys are signing up the CAG clan??

anyways, any info would be great!

Some great games tonight. Had to sign off early b/c I have finals to study for.
Last CTF match was hilarious as I drove a 4X4 with Ionwang in the back, Chernovan flag in hand, running over and gunning down as many as possible.

Will definitely have more time to play next week since I'll be done with finals and graduation.

And SoCalDude... we sure did put it down in that dogfight when we were outnumbered 8 to 3.

Hey, thanks for actually teaching us how to get those prox. mines on the top of that dome... I don't think I could have ever reached those mines if it weren't for you helping us. :D

And what was up with the teams having an odd amount of players on each team? Ehh, who knows... Albeit the very unbalanced and one-sided battles, it was fun either way. ;)

Oh and we thought you didn't like the 'nives 'n 'nades rule in the first game, because you left... glad you came back later.

I'm still trying to figure that out.
We have a CAG team (look a few pages back for a post I made) but we haven't done anything yet.
Tomorrow (hopefully), I'll post a new thread so the GGL tourny conversations won't get lost in here.
I'm thinking, assuming we can get organized, of doing a practice game next weekend, so we can get at least one in before it really starts.
But I'll to know when people are free.

Anyone know who that duebes(random numbers) is?
I end up having to ban (kicked him twice) him that last deathmatch, he was being a bad student.

And I vote we change the name of the server to The_Roadkill_Roadhouse... maybe that's too many characters...

Are you completely sure you have balance teams checked? It seems like the imbalances only happen when you host.

I've noticed (I think) that server settings like use bio-field/wrench get saved along with the map rotations, so maybe balance teams is getting reset when you load up a saved rotation? Otherwise, I can't guess what would be causing it.

Yes... I make sure it's checked...:bomb:
I always load the map rotation first, since it saves the weirdest things sometimes.
Then I go through and make sure everything is set up correctly.:wall:

And I know it's on because once or twice I tried changing teams and it wouldn't let me because it would imbalance the teams.:roll:

And the colors... THE COLORS!!!
 
Oh yea... sorry about using the rifle during the first match of 'nades and 'nives.... totally missed it as i was cradling a slurpee.

lol... at least the two i shot at, both went down by shanking each other at the same time.

Ya, you and DaNaD were both playing Warhawk but not with us so I left the first game to remind you. And Mana was playing some other game (not Wipeout.... YET) so I told him to get his rear in the game lol. I am glad the three of you made it - even if it did take a nudge from me :cool:

And I think it is 100% clear the Warhawk gods are not happy with Super King for some reason. Why else would they outumber him like that??

I tell ya, I must've pissed someone off somewhere. On that CTF, I went to see who I'd been teamed with and my jaw dropped :shock: "Oh come on! 12 to 1, are you serious?!" Some merciful players jumped over, but by the time we were ONLY outnumbered 9 to 4, the score was 6-0 and was all but over.

Funny side note: when I first noticed what was going on I tried to team-switch to tell you guys and maybe even things up. You know what it told me? 'Sorry, team-switch would cause imbalance.' Imbalance? What do you call 12 against 1? Aaarghh! :bomb:

The Zones match I could live with. It was only 5 or 6 to 1 and I think I gave better than I got. I EARNED that MVP award! Glad you enjoyed yourself Freaky, I know I enjoyed shooting you and SoCal (both of him) out of the sky.

Hehe thanks, haven't seen it yet as I've had intermittent net connectivity today so I'll accept tonight or tomorrow for sure.

I'm thinking we should change the name of the server DD83 host to something else, so we don't have random weirdos jumping in wanting to join our clan.

Oh yeah, I may allow Warhawk on Saturday to be pushed to 10pm EST.

If someone ends up hosting a server called CAG_Clan, they should just change the password to fuck! That'll keep all those randoms guessing.
 
I'm going to do something different this weekend. I'm going to do mostly zones and boosters will NOT be required. I figure we can practice for the GGL tourny. So if you could change that it'd be great.

and thats a good idea metaly (is it meta-leee or met-ally? I've heard both... I don't feel like looking in the CAG gaming list to see if you explain it there)
